Weak-copyleft components
These components are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) or the Mozilla Public License (MPL). They are loaded as separate, unmodified files; their complete source code is available from the linked projects, and you may replace them with your own builds. @mediabunny/aac-encoder, @mediabunny/ac3, @mediabunny/dts, @mediabunny/flac-encoder, @mediabunny/mp3-encoder, @mediabunny/prores, dictionary-es, dictionary-fr, dictionary-pt, dompurify, heic-to, libav.js, libheif-js, mediabunny, openpgp, pyodide.
Code compiled into other components
Some components above are WebAssembly builds that contain other open-source projects. They are loaded only by the tools that need them.
- libheif and libde265 (LGPL-3.0) inside libheif-js and heic-to, used to open HEIC/HEIF photos.
- FFmpeg code (LGPL-2.1-or-later) inside the @mediabunny add-ons for AAC, AC-3 and DTS audio, loaded only when a video or audio file needs them.
- The LAME MP3 encoder (LGPL) inside @mediabunny/mp3-encoder, loaded only when audio is converted to MP3.
- Tesseract OCR (Apache-2.0) inside tesseract.js-core, with language data from tessdata (Apache-2.0), used by OCR PDF.
Fonts and icons
- Display typeface: a subset of Archivo (SIL Open Font License 1.1) — licence.
- Fonts used inside some tools (e.g. invoices, image text): Fontsource packages of Google Fonts families, SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- Icons: Lucide (ISC licence).
Data
- Exchange rates: euro foreign exchange reference rates from the European Central Bank; cross rates are calculated by MySmartCoPilot from them.
- Passphrase word list: the EFF Large Wordlist by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (Joseph Bonneau, 2016), used by the Password Generator under CC BY 4.0; the dice-roll numbers were removed, the words are unchanged.
