About the Video Invitation Maker (Indian Weddings & Events)
Make a short animated video invitation for a Hindu, Muslim (nikah), Sikh (Anand Karaj) or Christian wedding, a haldi, mehendi, engagement, griha pravesh or birthday: pick the event and a template, type the names, date, time and venue, add your own photos and choose the music. The preview plays as you type, and Make the MP4 video renders a 30–60 second video in your browser, ready for WhatsApp, Instagram or YouTube.
The wording comes in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali — the heading, the opening line such as ॥ श्री गणेशाय नमः ॥, the labels and the date in that language’s own month and day names — and every line can be changed. Guests scan a QR code to open the venue in their map app. The matching card as JPG or PDF comes from the same design. Photos, names and music never leave your device, and there is no watermark.
How to use it
- Choose the event, the language and a template, and whether the video is vertical (WhatsApp Status, Reels) or horizontal (YouTube, TV).
- Type the names, the date, time and venue. Paste the place’s map link (or its coordinates), or tick the box to make the QR code a map search for the venue and address.
- Optionally add more events (sangeet, reception…), change the wording, add up to 8 photos and pick the music — one of the page’s own tracks, or your own song.
- Press Play to watch the preview, then Make the MP4 video. Watch the result, then Download or Share it. Card as JPG or PDF saves the matching still card.
Examples
Wedding (Hindu) · हिन्दी · Royal red and gold · 4 photos · map link · Festive music
A 37-second vertical MP4 (1080 × 1920): ॥ श्री गणेशाय नमः ॥ and शुभ विवाह over a turning mandala and marigold garlands, the names, four photo scenes in arch frames, दिनांक / समय / स्थान with “रविवार, 22 नवंबर 2026”, the map QR code and the hosts
Birthday · English · Balloons and confetti · age 1 · 2 photos · Music box · horizontal
A 30-second 1920 × 1080 video with rising balloons and confetti, the name with a big “1” badge, two photos and the party details
Griha Pravesh · ગુજરાતી · Marigold and diyas · no photos · “make the QR code from the address”
ગૃહ પ્રવેશ with a mango-leaf toran and flickering diyas, “આપને સાદર આમંત્રણ”, the date written “રવિવાર, 22 નવેમ્બર, 2026” and a QR code that opens a Google Maps search for the new address
What the video contains
An opening scene with the heading (and the opening line, if you keep it), the names, one scene per photo with a slow zoom, the date, time and venue, your other events if you add them, the map QR code, and a closing scene with the hosts and an RSVP line. Scenes fade into each other and the length adapts to what you add: automatic keeps it between 30 and 60 seconds, or choose 30, 45 or 60 seconds exactly.
The file is an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC sound at 30 frames a second, in Full HD (1080 × 1920 or 1920 × 1080) or HD (720p, smaller and faster to make). At 60 seconds or less it fits a WhatsApp Status, which takes videos of up to 90 seconds (WhatsApp Help Center). Browsers that cannot encode MP4 make a WebM file instead, and the page says so.
Templates, languages and fonts
Nine templates are drawn by the page itself — mandala, marigold garlands, an eight-point star lattice with lanterns, paisley, rangoli, roses, rings, diyas, balloons — in colours that suit each event, and any template works with any event. The heading and the short standard phrases (“आप सादर आमंत्रित हैं”, “அன்புடன் அழைக்கிறோம்”, “সাদর আমন্ত্রণ” …) follow the language you choose until you edit them; dates and times are written the way that language writes them, from the Unicode CLDR data built into your browser — Marathi and Bengali with their own digits.
Latin and Devanagari text uses fonts that come with the page (Great Vibes, Montserrat, Poppins, Noto Sans Devanagari). Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gurmukhi and Arabic text uses your device’s own fonts, which phones and Windows and Mac computers have.
Music
The five tracks — a calm tanpura drone with bells, a festive santoor-style melody with a tabla-style rhythm, soft piano, a string pad and a music box — are made by the page on your device from notes written for it, so they are free to use anywhere. They fit the length of the video exactly and fade out at the end. You can also use your own song or recording (MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and more): a shorter one repeats with a smooth join, a longer one is cut and faded. Use music you have the right to share.
The map QR code
Paste the “Share” link of the place from Google Maps, Apple Maps or another map app, or type its coordinates (for example 19.0760, 72.8777), which become a Google Maps link. Without a link, the page can make the code a Google Maps search for the venue and address (Maps URLs) — scan it once to check that it finds the right place. The page never opens or checks the link itself; it only puts it into the code.
Limitations
- Making the video needs a browser that can encode video (WebCodecs): a current Chrome, Edge or Safari, or Firefox on a computer. Older browsers can still save the card as JPG or PDF.
- A phone takes longer to make the video than a laptop; keep the page open until it finishes. HD (720p) is faster.
- Up to 8 photos and 4 more events. Long names and addresses are made smaller, and cut with “…” only when they still do not fit.
- Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gurmukhi and Arabic text needs fonts on the device; on a computer without them (some Linux systems) those letters show as boxes.
- The standard phrases are short and common; check the spelling of every name and change any line to your family’s wording. The page does not send invitations or collect RSVPs.
Privacy
Everything is made on your device: photos, names, music and the finished video are never uploaded. What you type is remembered in this browser (local storage) so you can come back to it; photos and music are not stored. “Clear the form” deletes it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send the video on WhatsApp?
Yes. The MP4 uses H.264 video and AAC sound and lasts at most 60 seconds, so it can be sent in a chat or posted as a Status (WhatsApp takes Status videos of up to 90 seconds). On a phone, Share… sends it straight to WhatsApp or another app.
Is there a watermark?
No. The video and the card carry only what you typed and your photos.
Can I make the invitation in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu or Bengali?
Yes. Choose the language and the heading, labels and date follow it. Type the names in any script — English letters or your own language — and change any line to your own words.
Which music can I use?
The page’s own five tracks are made by the page and free to use. You can also add your own song or recording; use music you have the right to share.
How do guests find the venue?
They scan the QR code on the map scene (or on the card) with the phone camera, which opens the place in their map app. Paste the place’s share link from your map app, or let the page search for the venue and address.
Can I print the invitation?
Yes: Card as PDF saves the same design as a 108 × 192 mm page (192 × 108 mm when horizontal), and Card as JPG a 1080 × 1920 picture (1920 × 1080 when horizontal). Both include the QR code.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Photos are read and drawn into the video inside your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
