About the Doodle to Clipart (AutoDraw-Style Drawing Helper)
Draw something — a cat, a house, a diya, a kite, a rocket, an arrow — and Doodle to Clipart suggests clean icons and clipart that look like it. Tap one and your scribble is replaced by the clipart, at the same size and in the same place, with lines as thick as your pen, in a colour you can change. Or type what you drew in English, Hindi or Hinglish (“billi”, “पतंग”, “hawai jahaz”) and pick from more than 1,800 open-licence Lucide icons and MySmartCoPilot’s own Indian clipart: diya, rangoli, kite, mango, lotus, auto-rickshaw and a cricket bat.
Build simple drawings, cards, worksheets and diagrams: snap rough lines, circles and rectangles into clean shapes, add text in five fonts, fill shapes with colour, and arrange everything in layers with undo and redo. The recogniser runs on your device — nothing you draw is uploaded. A Pro pass downloads the drawing as a sharp SVG, a PNG of up to 4× the page size (transparent if you like) or a PDF at the page’s print size; without a pass you can try everything on a watermarked preview.
How to use it
- Choose a page size — a square or portrait post, a Story, a slide, A4 or an A6 card — and a background.
- With Draw selected, sketch something. After each stroke the suggestions row shows clipart that matches your doodle; tap one to put it in place of the doodle. Strokes drawn close together count as one doodle; start somewhere else for the next one.
- No match? Type what you drew in the search box (English, Hindi or Hinglish) and tap a result — it replaces the selected doodle, or lands in the middle of the page. Search by meaning (AI) finds pictures for descriptions such as “something for a birthday party”.
- Use Shapes to draw lines, circles and rectangles that snap clean, Text to add words, Fill to colour a shape or icon, Erase to rub out strokes, and Select to move, resize, recolour, flip, copy or delete. The Layers list changes the order and hides layers; undo and redo cover every step.
- Without a pass the drawing shows a watermark and SVG, PNG, PDF and Copy image open the ways to unlock; with a Pro pass (or this drawing unlocked) they give the full files. Save project keeps the drawing to continue later, with or without a pass.

How the doodle recogniser works
Your strokes are compared with example drawings using the $P point-cloud recogniser (by Radu-Daniel Vatavu, Lisa Anthony and Jacob O. Wobbrock; New BSD licence): each drawing becomes 32 points evenly spaced along its lines, scaled to the same size, and the closest examples win — the order and direction of your strokes do not matter. The examples are 16 drawings for each of 154 categories from Google’s Quick, Draw! dataset (CC BY 4.0), chosen to cover the different ways people draw each thing, plus 22 pictures Quick, Draw! has no drawings of (hearts, arrows, a tick, a diya, a kite, a rangoli …), made from the clipart itself.
Measured accuracy: on 1,000 Quick, Draw! drawings the recogniser had never seen, the right category was among the first five suggestions for 63 % of them, and first for 34 %. Those were drawings Quick, Draw!’s own game had recognised, so they are clearer than many quick scribbles: rough doodles match less often. Clear outlines drawn in a few strokes match best; when nothing fits, type what you drew.
Search in English, Hindi or Hinglish
Search reads icon names and tags, and a list of Hindi words in Devanagari and in Latin letters: “billi” or “बिल्ली” finds the cat, “ghar” the house, “patang” the kite, “chai” the cup, “hawai jahaz” the plane. Search by meaning is the optional AI step: MiniLM L6 v2 (English) or Multilingual E5 small (Hindi, Hinglish and other languages) runs on your device and ranks about 200 everyday pictures by how close they are to your words. It only reorders the pictures — it never draws anything.
Files for print and the web
- SVG: every line, shape, icon and letter as vector paths (text in outlines), so it scales without blurring and opens in any design program.
- PNG: 1×, 2× or 4× the page size, on your background or transparent.
- PDF: one page at the page’s real size — 210 × 297 mm for A4 at 300 dpi — with everything in vector.
The colours you choose are used exactly (sRGB). For print, use an A4 or A6 page; for social posts, a square, portrait or Story page.
Credits and licences
Icons: Lucide (ISC licence). Doodle examples: Quick, Draw! — “This data made available by Google, Inc. under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license” (CC BY 4.0); the tool keeps 16 drawings of each category, each reduced to 32 points. Recogniser: $P Point-Cloud Recognizer by Radu-Daniel Vatavu, Lisa Anthony and Jacob O. Wobbrock (New BSD licence), ported to TypeScript. Fonts: Caveat, Poppins, Anton, Dancing Script and Noto Sans (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The diya, rangoli, kite, mango, lotus, auto-rickshaw, cricket bat and other clipart marked as MySmartCoPilot’s are drawn for this tool, and you can use them in what you make.
Limitations
- The recogniser matches shapes, not meaning: about a third of doodles get the right picture first, and about two in three within the first five. Type what you drew when the suggestions miss.
- It knows 176 kinds of picture; anything else gets the closest shapes. Very detailed drawings, letters and words are not recognised.
- Text uses Latin and Devanagari letters; other scripts are left out.
- Drawings are not saved in the browser: use Save project to keep one and open it later.
- MySmartCoPilot claims no ownership of what you make; the Lucide icons and fonts keep their open licences.
Privacy
On this device; the AI model downloads once
Everything happens in your browser. What you enter or open here is not uploaded or stored by MySmartCoPilot. The doodle recogniser’s example drawings (about 140 KB), the full icon list (about 150 KB) and each font you use are downloaded from this site the first time they are needed. “Search by meaning” downloads an AI model to your device once, the first time you use it (about 26 MB for English, about 133 MB for Hindi and other languages). Your drawing never leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Doodle to Clipart (AutoDraw-Style Drawing Helper) shows your drawing in the editor at preview size (up to 640 pixels) with a MySmartCoPilot watermark across it. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
How is this different from AutoDraw?
Like AutoDraw it turns doodles into clipart. It also searches in Hindi and Hinglish, has Indian clipart (diya, rangoli, kite, auto-rickshaw), snaps shapes, adds text, keeps layers, and exports SVG and print PDF as well as PNG — and the recognising happens on your device.
Is my drawing uploaded?
No. The recogniser, the search and the exports run in your browser. Only the example drawings, icons and fonts are downloaded from this site, and the optional Search by meaning downloads an AI model to your device the first time you use it.
How accurate is it?
On 1,000 Quick, Draw! drawings it had never seen — drawings Quick, Draw!’s own game had recognised — the right picture was among the first five suggestions 63 % of the time and first 34 % of the time. Rougher doodles match less often; a clear outline drawn in a few strokes works best, and typing what you drew always works.
Can I use the clipart in my own designs?
Yes. Lucide icons are under the ISC licence, which allows any use, and MySmartCoPilot’s own clipart may be used in what you make. The Quick, Draw! drawings are only used to recognise doodles and are never part of your file.
Can I change an icon after placing it?
Yes. Select it to change its colour, line width, fill, opacity and size, flip it, copy it, move it up or down the layers or delete it. Undo goes back step by step.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Draw with your finger; the page scrolls only outside the drawing area. The suggestions appear above the drawing.
