Cookies and browser storage

MySmartCoPilot sets no cookies of its own. A few features remember things in your browser instead; here is every one of them, and a way to delete them.

Cookies

MySmartCoPilot’s own code sets no cookies: no session, login, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our anonymous usage statistics work without cookies or any identifier (see the privacy policy).

Two kinds of third-party cookie are possible. Cloudflare, which hosts MySmartCoPilot, may in rare cases set a strictly necessary security cookie of its own, for example after checking that a visitor is not a bot (Cloudflare’s list of cookies). And if ads are switched on, Google may set advertising cookies, with your consent where the law requires it (see Advertising and consent).

What MySmartCoPilot stores in your browser

Instead of cookies, some features use your browser’s local storage and session storage, and a few tools keep larger things in its IndexedDB storage. This information is created and read on your device, and MySmartCoPilot’s code does not send it to our server, so we cannot see it. The only exceptions are a licence key, which is checked with our server and sent with each request to a server-side tool, the order reference and one-time code of a checkout you started, which collect your licence key after you pay, and the latest Ask MySmartCoPilot messages while its AI helper is on (see the privacy policy). Every key starts with tv-, and so does the name of every database.

Local storage

Stays in this browser until you delete it (below, or in your browser’s settings).

Name What it is for How long it stays
tv-theme Light / dark theme. The word "light" or "dark" after you use the theme button, so every page opens in the theme you picked. Until you clear it. Without it, pages follow your device setting.
tv-favorites Saved tools. The names of the tools you saved with the Save button (up to 100). Until you remove them or clear it.
tv-recent Recently used tools. The names of the last 12 tools you opened. Until you clear it. Older entries drop off automatically.
tv-pref-<tool> Tool settings. Options and small bits of set-up you chose in a tool, so they are ready next time: for example indentation, units or output format, an invoice-number pattern, a holiday list, your timers or a countdown’s date and title. Many tools also keep what you build up or write in them, so it is there when you come back: for example a calculator’s tape and history, a colour picker’s recent picks, saved hashtag sets, searches, wheels and workouts, a spell checker’s personal dictionary, a printable calendar’s dates, a stopwatch’s laps, a fuel log, your typing-test results, the text in the Markdown Editor and in Speech to Text, and the recipe you scale. Health calculators keep what you track or enter in them, such as fasts, water, caffeine and drinks, nutrient intakes and the details they ask for (age, sex, pregnancy, weight); this never leaves your device. The PageSpeed Test keeps a Google API key only if you tick “Remember on this device”, and sends it only to Google with your tests. Text you load from a file into such a tool is kept with the rest, for example a Markdown file you open in the Markdown Editor, or a word list or fuel log you import; other files you open are not kept here. Until you clear it.
tv-dismissed-announcement Site announcements. The id of the last announcement you closed, so it stays closed. Until you clear it or a new announcement replaces it.
tv-currency-rates-v1 Currency converter. The last exchange-rate table the converter downloaded (rates and their date, no amounts), so it also works offline. Replaced by each newer table; stays until you clear it.
tv-doc-v1:invoicetv-doc-v1:quotation Invoice and quotation generators. Your current invoice or quotation draft (business and customer details, line items, notes, the payment details you added, such as a bank account or UPI ID, and any logo or signature image), plus one earlier version (keys ending in :previous) so a reset can be undone. Until you clear the draft in the tool or delete it here.
tv-w1b1-proforma-v1tv-w1b1-po-v1tv-w1b1-receipt-v1tv-w3bp21-commercial-invoice-v1tv-w3bp21-credit-note-v1tv-w3bp21-delivery-challan-v1tv-w3bp21-packing-slip-v1tv-w3bp21-shipping-label-v1 Business document generators. The document you are making in the Proforma Invoice, Purchase Order, Receipt, Commercial Invoice, Credit Note & Debit Note, Delivery Challan, Packing Slip or Shipping Label generator, saved as you type so it is there when you come back (one key per generator): your business’s and the other party’s details (names, addresses, tax numbers, phone and email), the items with their quantities, prices and taxes, the dates, terms and notes, any payment or bank details you typed (such as a bank account, UPI ID or payment reference), and any logo or signature image you added (left out if the browser’s storage is full). Until you press “Clear saved data on this device” in that generator or delete it here.
tv-w1b1-po-vendors-v1tv-w1b1-po-items-v1 Purchase Order Generator lists. Only what you choose to keep for later orders: the vendors you save (name, address, GSTIN, state, email and phone, up to 100) and the items you save (description, HSN code, unit, rate and tax, up to 300). Until you remove a vendor, press “Clear saved data on this device” on the purchase order page or delete it here.
tv-w1b1-offer-v1tv-w1b1-payslip-v1tv-w1b2-experience-v1tv-w1b2-resignation-v1tv-w3b22-internship-v1tv-w3b22-salary-certificate-v1 Letters, payslips and certificates. The letter, payslip or certificate you are making in the Offer & Appointment Letter, Payslip, Experience & Relieving Letter, Resignation Letter, Internship Certificate or Salary Certificate generator, saved as you type (one key per generator): the organisation’s and the person’s details (names, addresses, job title, employee ID and dates) and any logo or signature image you added. Offer letters, payslips and salary certificates also hold the pay; payslips and salary certificates can hold tax and social-security numbers such as PAN and UAN, and a payslip the bank account you typed. It never leaves your device; on a shared computer, clear it when you are done. Until you press “Clear saved data on this device” in that generator or delete it here.
tv-w1b1-rent-v1 Rent Receipt Generator. The rent receipts you are making, saved as you type: the tenant’s name, the landlord’s name, address, PAN and phone, the property, the rent and its months, how and when it was paid with any reference (such as a UPI ID or cheque series), and any signature image you added. It never leaves your device. Until you press “Clear saved data on this device” in the tool or delete it here.
tv-w6b1-resume-builder-v1 Resume Builder. Your résumé and marriage biodata, saved as you type: everything you entered, such as your name, contact details, photo (left out if the browser’s storage is full), work history, education and skills, and for a biodata the personal and family details you added, such as date and place of birth, religion and caste. It never leaves your device. Until you press “Clear saved data on this device” in the tool or delete it here.
tv-w6u1-marriage-biodata-v1 Marriage Biodata Maker. Your biodata, saved as you type so it is there when you come back: everything you entered, such as your name, date and place of birth, height, education and work, family details, religion, caste and horoscope details if you added them, contact details, the labels you renamed and your photo (left out if the browser’s storage is full). It never leaves your device; on a shared computer, clear it when you are done. Until you press “Clear” in the tool or delete it here.
tv-to-do-list To-Do List. Your lists, saved as you type: each list’s name and kind (to-do, shopping, packing or daily habits), its items with whether they are done and when they were ticked, due dates, priorities, notes and shopping prices, your habits and the days you kept them, and which list is open. It never leaves your device. Until you delete a list in the tool or delete it here.
tv-w6b1-email-signature-v1 Email Signature Generator. The signature you are building, saved as you type: your name and pronouns, job title, department and company, phone numbers, email, website and postal address, social links, a call to action with its web address, a short line and a notice under the signature if you added them, the web addresses of your photo and logo, and the colours, font and layout you chose. Until you press “Clear saved signature” in the tool or delete it here.
tv-w6b1-cheque-positions-v1 Cheque Printing Tool. Only when you tick “Remember positions on this device”: how far each field is moved to fit your printer and cheque leaf (the layouts you saved, with their names, and which one you use) and the paper feed. Never the cheque’s date, payee or amount. Until you untick “Remember positions on this device” or delete it here.
tv-legal-draft-v1:<tool> Legal document generators (NDA, rent agreement, contracts…). Only when you tick “Keep a draft in this browser”: the details you typed into that document generator (names, addresses, dates, amounts and clauses), so the draft is there when you come back. Leave it off on shared computers. Until you untick the option, clear the form or delete it here.
tv-pdf-sign-saved Sign PDF. Only when you tick “Remember my signature and initials on this device”: pictures of the signature and initials you made in the tool, and when they were saved, so they are ready next time. Anyone using this browser profile could use them, so leave it off on shared computers. Until you press “Forget saved signature”, untick the option or delete it here.
tv-w3bp21-expense-report-v1 Expense Report Generator. Your current expense report, saved as you type: the company and employee details (name, ID, department, email, cost centre), the approver, every expense, mileage or per-diem line (date, category, merchant, payment method, amount, currency and rate, tax, receipt number), any advance, your notes and logo, and the names and sizes of the receipts you attached. The receipt files themselves are in the tv-w3bp21-expense-receipts database (below). Until you press “Clear saved data on this device” in the tool or delete it here.
tv-rest-api-tester-drafttv-rest-api-tester-historytv-rest-api-tester-envstv-rest-api-tester-collections REST API Tester. What you set up in the tool, kept for your next visit. tv-rest-api-tester-draft holds the request you are editing: method, address, parameters, headers, a body of up to about 100 KB, the kind of authorisation and the request settings. tv-rest-api-tester-history holds the last 50 requests you sent, with their status and how long they took, while “Save requests in History” is on. tv-rest-api-tester-envs holds your environments: their names and {{variables}} with their values exactly as you typed them, tokens included. tv-rest-api-tester-collections holds up to 10 collections you imported, when they fit (about 2.5 MB): each request’s name, folder, method, address, headers and body. Tokens, passwords, API keys and other secret-looking values are blanked in the request, the history and the collections unless you tick “Remember auth values on this device”. Files you attach are never stored. Until you clear it. “Clear history” empties the history, and deleting an environment or removing a collection deletes it.
tv-study-focus-timer Study Focus Timer. Your timer settings (focus and break lengths, daily goal, which phases start by themselves), the running timer (its phase and when it ends, so a reload keeps it going), your task list (up to 100 tasks: title, estimate and sessions done), the session log (the last 1,000 focus sessions: start, end, focus time, the task and whether it ran to the end) and your sound, notification, keep-screen-on and keyboard-shortcut choices. Until you clear it. “Clear history” in the tool empties the session log; deleting a task removes it.
tv-expense-splitter-v1 Expense Splitter. Your groups: each group’s name, currency and members’ names, when it was started and last changed, and every expense or payment in it (title, amount, currency and exchange rate, date, who paid and how it is split). The example group is not saved unless you change it. A share link carries its copy of a group inside the link itself, not here. Until you delete a group in the tool or delete it here.
tv-split-bill-v1 Split Bill Calculator. The bill you are splitting: its title, the people’s names, every item with its quantity, price and who shared it, the discount, taxes, service charge, tip and rounding, the total on the receipt, who paid and, if you entered them, the UPI ID and name to pay. The example bill is not saved unless you change it. Until you clear it. “New bill” replaces it and keeps only the UPI ID and name.
tv-budget-planner-v1 Budget Planner. Your budget, saved as you type: the currency, the budgeting rule you chose (with your own split, if you set one), each income with its name and amount, each spending line with its name, kind, planned amount and what you spent, and your emergency-fund figures. The example budget is not saved unless you change it. It never leaves your device. Until you press “Start again with the example” in the tool or delete it here.
tv-net-worth-v1 Net Worth Calculator. Your assets and debts, saved as you type: the name, type and value of each one (for an asset, also whether it is easy to turn into cash), the currency, and the snapshots you save, each with its date and your totals by type (up to 600). The example list is not saved unless you change it. It never leaves your device. Until you press “Start again with the example” in the tool, which deletes the list and its snapshots, or delete it here.
tv-stt-probe-pendingtv-stt-probe-crashed Speech to Text (on-device check). A guard against a browser crash. Some browsers close the tab when a page asks whether they can recognise speech on the device. While Speech to Text asks, tv-stt-probe-pending holds “1”. If the tab closed during the question, the next visit finds it and keeps your browser’s user-agent string (its name and version) in tv-stt-probe-crashed, so the page does not ask that browser version again. tv-stt-probe-pending is deleted as soon as the browser answers or you leave the page. tv-stt-probe-crashed stays until you clear it; after a browser update the page asks again.
tv-consent-v1 Privacy choices. Your choice about optional services such as ads from Google (accept or reject) and when you made it, so you are not asked on every page. One year, then you are asked again. You can change or delete it at any time.
tv-licence-v1 Licence key. A licence key for a paid plan, saved when you enter it on the pricing page or in a Pro or Business tool, or right after you buy a pass, with the plan and expiry date our server confirmed and when it was last checked (about once a day). The key is also sent with each request to a server-side tool (such as the Redirect Checker), so a pass’s higher limits apply. Until you remove the key, our server says it is no longer valid, or you delete it here.
tv-tier-uses-v1 Free daily uses of Pro and Business tools. Today’s date (in UTC) and, for each Pro or Business tool you used today without a pass that unlocks it, the tool’s name and how many times you used it (at most 200 tools), so the tool can show how many free uses you have left. It is only written while passes for that tool can be bought, and it never leaves your browser. Only today’s counts are kept: free uses start again at 00:00 UTC, and the counts of an earlier day are dropped the next time you use such a tool. You can delete it here at any time.
tv-pricing-currency Pricing currency. The currency you chose on the pricing page (INR or USD), so prices open in it next time. Without it, the page picks one from your browser’s language and time zone. Until you clear it.
tv-country-v1 Your country. The country you picked with the country button at the top of the page, if you picked one, and the country detected for this browser: the two-letter code of the country our server saw for your connection (asked once; the server keeps nothing), your device’s time zone (such as “Asia/Kolkata”) and the country worked out from them. No address, city or IP address. Until you clear it. “Use my location” in the country list forgets the country you picked and keeps the detected one.
tv-pwa-install-dismissed Install as an app. When MySmartCoPilot offered to install itself as an app, or you chose “Not now” or declined the browser’s install dialog (a date and time), so the offer is shown only once. Until you clear it.
tv-pwa-ios-tip Install tip (iPhone and iPad). When the one-time “Add to Home Screen” tip was shown in Safari on iPhone or iPad, so it is shown only once. Until you clear it.

Session storage

Belongs to one browser tab and is deleted automatically when you close it.

Name What it is for How long it stays
tv-config-v1 Site settings. A copy of MySmartCoPilot’s public site settings (feature switches, announcements, labelled offers) downloaded from our server. It contains nothing about you. Reused for 5 minutes; deleted when you close the tab.
tv-checkout-v1 Buying a pass. For each checkout you start in this tab: the order reference, a one-time code that lets this tab collect your licence key after you pay, the pass, its price and currency, the payment provider and when you started. To collect the key, this tab sends the order reference and the code to MySmartCoPilot’s server, with the licence key this browser already holds (if any), so that a new pass can extend it. Never card, UPI or bank details: MySmartCoPilot does not have them. Removed once your licence key has been collected or the order is closed (for example refunded or expired), after 48 hours at the latest, or when you close the tab.
tv-handoff:<tool>tv-handoff:file:<tool> Smart paste, Share to MySmartCoPilot and pre-filled tools. What you pass on to the tool you pick, kept here instead of in the address bar. tv-handoff:<tool> holds text: what you passed on from Smart paste or from the installed app’s “Open what you shared” page (some text, a link or a text file’s content), or the text that search, Ask MySmartCoPilot or a button in another tool opens the tool with. For files, tv-handoff:file:<tool> holds only a note, never the files: their names (at most three, plus a corrected one if a file’s extension is wrong), how many there are, when you picked the tool, a few yes/no facts that decide what the tool page says (such as whether they came from a share) and, when the files themselves are handed over, a one-time random hand-over code. Those files wait in the service worker’s memory, never in storage. Deleted as soon as that tool’s page opens (a note about files is ignored after 10 minutes), or when you close the tab. Files waiting in the service worker are collected once or dropped after 60 seconds.
tv-network-autorun Lookups started from another network tool. Only the name of the lookup tool that a button or link in another network tool sends you to, so that the lookup starts by itself: WHOIS Lookup, SSL Certificate Checker, Abuse Contact Finder, DNS Lookup, DNS Propagation Checker, MX Lookup, SPF Record Checker, DMARC Record Checker, DKIM Record Checker, IP Address Lookup or Website Hosting Checker. The address to look up goes along as text (see tv-handoff:<tool> above). Deleted when that lookup tool opens, or when you close the tab.
tv-doc-handoff:invoice Quotation → invoice. A quotation you chose to turn into an invoice, on its way to the invoice generator. Deleted as soon as the invoice generator picks it up, or when you close the tab.
tv-assistant-history Ask MySmartCoPilot. Your conversation with the Ask MySmartCoPilot tool finder (up to the last 30 messages), so it survives a reload of the page. Emptied when you clear the conversation; deleted when you close the tab.
tv-search-pending Search. A search you started from a search box outside the header, held for a moment so that the search page counts it exactly once. Deleted as soon as the search page opens.
tv-sticky-dismissed Bottom bar on phones. That you closed the bar at the bottom of the screen, so it stays closed in this tab. Deleted when you close the tab.
tv-pwa-update-dismissed Update notice. That you chose “Later” on the “Update available” notice, so it does not reappear in this tab. Deleted when you close the tab.
tv-admin-token Admin sign-in (site operator only). The sign-in token of the site operator in the private admin area. It is never set for visitors. Until the operator signs out or closes the tab.

Databases kept by tools (IndexedDB)

A few tools keep larger things, such as recordings, receipts, notes and drafts, in your browser’s IndexedDB storage. They stay on this device until you delete them (each row says how), and they are not sent to MySmartCoPilot.

tv-csv-editor CSV Editor drafts. The tables you were editing, saved as you go so an edit survives a closed tab or a crash: the file name, row and column counts, the header row, delimiter and encoding, and the rows, for the 5 most recent tables. It never leaves your device. Until you delete a draft in the tool (turning off “Autosave a draft in this browser” deletes the draft of the table you have open) or delete the database here.
tv-w3bp21-expense-receipts Expense Report Generator receipts. The receipts you attached to your expense report: photos, made smaller on your device (at most 1,600 pixels on the longest side, as JPEG), and PDF receipts as you chose them, so they are still there when you come back and can go into the PDF. The report lists them in tv-w3bp21-expense-report-v1 (above). They never leave your device. Until you remove a receipt, press “Clear saved data on this device” in the tool or delete the database here. Receipts that the saved report no longer lists are deleted the next time the tool opens.
tv-period-tracker Period Tracker log. Your period log: the first and last day of each period or spotting, the heaviest flow, symptoms and notes, and your settings (your age if you added it, luteal phase and assumed cycle length). If you set a passphrase, the log is encrypted with it, and the passphrase itself is never stored. The log never leaves your device: MySmartCoPilot has no copy, and backups are files you download yourself. Created only when you save your first entry. Stays until you press “Delete all tracker data” in the tool or delete the database here.
tv-voice-recorder Voice Recorder recordings. Your recordings: the sound, saved every second while you record (so closing the page loses at most the last second), and for each recording its name, when it was made, its length, sample rate and channels, the levels drawn as its waveform, the microphone’s name and the sound processing you chose. They never leave your device. Until you delete a recording in the tool or delete the database here.
tv-online-notepad Online Notepad notes. Your notes: the text of each note and when it was created and last changed. They are not encrypted, so anyone who uses this browser profile can read them, and they never leave your device. Until you delete a note in the notepad, delete the database here, or clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings.
tv-graphic-design-editor Graphic Design Editor designs. Your designs, saved as you work so a design survives a closed tab or a crash: for each of the 12 most recent, its name, page size and everything on the page — text, shapes, icons, QR codes with their link or text, imported SVG artwork and your photos (made smaller on your device: at most 4,096 pixels on the longest side, or 2,560 for pictures with transparency) — plus a small preview for the “Your designs” list. They never leave your device. Until you delete a design under “Your designs” in the editor or delete the database here. Saving a 13th design deletes the oldest.
tv-pixel-art-maker Pixel Art Maker drawings. Your drawings, saved as you draw so a drawing survives a closed tab or a crash: for each of the 12 most recent, its name, canvas size, layers (name, visibility, opacity), animation frames with their pixels and timing, your colour swatches and a small preview for the “Your drawings” list. They never leave your device. Until you delete a drawing under “Your drawings” in the tool or delete the database here. Saving a 13th drawing deletes the oldest.
tv-labour-register Labour Attendance Register. Your registers, saved as you work: sites; workers (name, work, rates, an optional phone number and gang — no ID numbers); daily attendance with in and out times, overtime and work done; advances, expenses, deductions and bonuses; recorded payments; and the register settings. It is not encrypted in the browser and never leaves your device, except in files you download or share yourself (backups are AES-256-GCM files you make). Created at the first save. Stays until you press “Delete everything” on its Backup & settings tab, delete the database here or clear this site’s data.
tv-site-dpr Daily Progress Report Maker. Your projects with their bill of quantities and logo, your daily reports, their photos (made smaller on your device, 1,600 pixels JPEG, with the time and position the camera recorded) and drawn signatures. They never leave your device unless you download or share a report. Until you delete a report or project, press “Delete all projects and reports” in the tool, or delete the database here.
tv-site-inspections Site Inspection Checklist. Your inspections with their answers and snags, photos (with the time and position the camera recorded), signatures, your own checklists, and the company name and logo for reports. They never leave your device unless you download or share a report. Until you delete an inspection, press “Delete all inspections and checklists” in the tool, or delete the database here.

What this browser has stored right now

This list is read from your browser as you view this page. Nothing in it is sent anywhere, and deleting only affects MySmartCoPilot.

If MySmartCoPilot shows ads from Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to show and measure ads and, where you allow it, to personalise them. Where the law requires consent, for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, you will be asked before advertising cookies are used, and you can change your mind at any time with the button below. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, MySmartCoPilot treats it as “reject” for ads until you choose otherwise. Other browser features

  • Offline copies. So that tools keep working without a connection, MySmartCoPilot can install a small service worker in your browser. It keeps copies of the MySmartCoPilot pages and files you have opened in the browser’s cache storage (caches named tv-sw-…). It never stores what you enter into tools and never keeps answers from our server. The list above shows these copies and can delete them.
  • Things you share with the app, and files you pass on to a tool. When you share files, text or a link with the installed MySmartCoPilot app, its service worker keeps them in memory, not in your browser’s storage, until the “Open what you shared” page opens them, and for at most 60 seconds. That page’s address only carries a random code that works once. Files you open with the app on a computer go straight to that page. When you pass files on to a tool, from that page or from Smart paste on the home page, the service worker holds them the same way for that one tool until its page opens them, again for at most 60 seconds. Text you pass on to a tool goes through session storage instead, as does a short note that names the files for the tool page (see tv-handoff:… above). What you share does not reach our server, with one exception: if the service worker is not running when you share (for example right after you cleared this site’s data), your browser sends the share to our server, which answers without reading or keeping it, and you are asked to share again.
  • Keeping recordings and notes when space runs low. When you start recording in the Voice Recorder, and when the Online Notepad first saves a note, the tool asks your browser to keep this site’s data as persistent storage. Your browser decides: Firefox asks you, while Chrome, Edge and Safari decide by themselves from how you use the site. If it agrees, the browser no longer deletes MySmartCoPilot’s local storage, databases and offline copies on its own when the device runs low on space. Nothing extra is stored, and you can still delete everything here or in your browser’s settings.
  • Notifications. If you allow notifications for the timer or countdown tools, your browser remembers that permission for this site. The notifications are created on your device; nothing is sent to a server. You can change the permission in your browser’s site settings.
  • Files you open are read by your browser for the tool you are using. MySmartCoPilot keeps them only where this page says so, and only in this browser: receipts you attach to an expense report, a logo, signature or photo you add to a document, the table of a CSV file you edit while autosave is on, and what you load from a file into a tool that saves your work, such as a Markdown file you open in the Markdown Editor, a backup you restore or a collection you import. Other files are not kept.

How to see and delete it yourself

  • Use the list above to delete single items or everything it shows at once, including the notes, recordings and other records that tools keep in your browser’s databases.
  • In your browser’s settings, look for site settings or “cookies and site data”, find mysmartcopilot.com and clear its data. This removes local storage, session storage, the tools’ databases and offline copies together.
  • In a private or incognito window, everything is deleted automatically when you close the window.

Deleting this data is safe: MySmartCoPilot keeps working. It forgets what was saved in that browser, though, including notes, recordings, receipts and a period log, so download or back up anything you want to keep first.
