About the Company Stamp & Seal Maker (PNG, SVG, Stamp a PDF)
Design a company stamp the way a rubber-stamp shop would set it: a round seal with the company name along the top arc and a city or branch along the bottom, stars between them and an inner ring; an oval office stamp; a signatory stamp ("For Sunrise Trading Company … Authorised Signatory") with room to sign; an address stamp; a square seal; or a RECEIVED / PAID stamp with a date line. Add centre lines, a GSTIN, VAT or company number (a GSTIN's check character is verified as you type), a blank or filled date line and your logo, drawn in the ink colour.
Text is set from real font files and turned into vector outlines, so the curve follows every letter. Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam are shaped with HarfBuzz, the text-shaping engine of Chrome, Firefox and Android, so conjuncts and vowel signs come out right on the arc. Choose blue, violet, red, black, green or any ink, and a light or worn rubber texture for a hand-pressed look. Without a pass you see the stamp as a free preview at preview size with a watermark; a Pro pass unlocks the transparent 600 DPI PNG, the SVG and PDF vector files and the stamped PDF.
How to use it
- Pick a template: round seal, round with centre text, oval, signatory, address, square or received/date stamp.
- Type the company name and the other lines. Add a registration or tax number with its label (GSTIN, CIN, VAT No., EIN …) and choose a date line: none, blank to write in, or a date in the format you use.
- Under Shape, size and ink, set the size in millimetres, the ink colour, the font, the border (single, double or with dots), the letter spacing and the rubber-ink texture. Upload a logo for the centre if you like.
- Check the preview on paper or on a transparent background. With a Pro pass, download the PNG (300, 600 or 1200 DPI, with the resolution written into the file), the SVG or the PDF; without one they stay a watermarked free preview.
- To stamp a document, open your PDF under Stamp a PDF, choose the pages, drag the stamp (and a drawn or uploaded signature) into place, set the tilt and ink density, and with a Pro pass download the stamped PDF.
Examples
Round seal · 40 mm · “SUNRISE TRADING COMPANY” on top · “PUNE” at the bottom · stars · double border · blue ink
A 945 × 945 px transparent PNG at 600 DPI that prints at exactly 40 mm, plus an SVG for a stamp maker
Signatory stamp · 60 × 25 mm · “For Blue Lotus Foods” · room to sign · “Authorised Signatory”
A rectangular stamp to put beside your signature on invoices and letters
Your PDF · Last page · Bottom right, 15 mm margin · tilt −4° · drawn signature over the stamp
The same PDF with the stamp and signature printed on its last page like ink
Does a company in India still need a common seal?
No. Since the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015, a common seal is optional for companies registered in India: the words "and a common seal" were omitted from section 9 of the Companies Act, 2013, section 12(3)(b) now asks for the company's name "engraved in legible characters on its seal, if any"; a company without a common seal authorises an attorney under section 22 in writing by two directors, or by a director and the Company Secretary where it has one; and a share certificate under section 46 is issued under the common seal, if any, or signed by two directors or by a director and the Company Secretary.
Many companies still keep a seal or an office stamp because banks, government offices, customers and suppliers ask for one on letters, invoices and forms. Check what the office you deal with requires; this page is general information, not legal advice.
Getting a stamp that prints well
- Text height: rubber fills in fine detail, so the tool warns when any line is under about 1.5 mm tall. Shorten the line, drop a centre line or make the stamp larger.
- Long registration numbers go on two lines in round and oval stamps: the label above the number.
- Vector files for a stamp shop: the SVG and PDF hold every letter as an outline, so they open the same in any program without your fonts. A 600 DPI PNG suits printing and documents.
- Real size: the PNG carries its resolution, so layout programs place a 40 mm stamp at 40 mm.
- Ink texture imitates a hand-pressed stamp on paper; choose Clean for a crisp mark.
A stamp picture is not a digital signature
Putting a picture of a stamp or a signature on a PDF shows who it comes from, but anyone can copy a picture. A digital signature is different: it is a cryptographic seal that proves who signed and that nothing changed afterwards. To sign a PDF that way, use PDF Digital Signature.
Limitations
- Six Latin font families (sans serif, condensed and display) plus Noto Sans for the nine Indian scripts; characters none of them has, such as emoji, are left out and listed under the preview.
- A logo is printed in the ink colour as a one-colour silhouette; very detailed or low-contrast logos lose detail, as they would on rubber.
- Stamped PDFs get the stamp as a 600 DPI picture on top of the page; PDFs protected by a password or permissions cannot be stamped until the protection is removed.
- The tool does not check whether you may use a name, number or logo: make stamps only for your own organisation or with its authority.
Privacy
On this device; its files download once
Everything happens in your browser. What you enter or open here is not uploaded or stored by MySmartCoPilot. The font engine (about 320 KB) and the fonts your text needs are downloaded from this site the first time; Indian scripts add the HarfBuzz shaping engine and one Noto Sans font, and stamping a PDF loads the PDF engine. Your stamp, logo, signature and PDF never leave your device.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Company Stamp & Seal Maker (PNG, SVG, Stamp a PDF) shows your stamp at preview size (up to 640 pixels) with a MySmartCoPilot watermark, and your stamped PDF pages as watermarked page images. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
Can a stamp shop make a real rubber stamp from this?
Yes: send the SVG or PDF (vector outlines, exact size) or the 600 DPI PNG to the shop or laser-engraving service and ask which they prefer. They prepare the rubber from it.
Can I write the company name in Hindi or another Indian script?
Yes. Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Sanskrit), Bengali, Gurmukhi, Gujarati, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam are shaped with HarfBuzz and Noto Sans, so conjuncts, half forms and vowel signs are drawn as they should be, and words keep their headline when they follow the arc. You can mix them with English on one stamp.
Why does the tool say a line is too small?
Lines under about 1.5 mm tall tend to fill in with ink on a rubber stamp. Shorten the text, remove a centre line, reduce the letter spacing or choose a larger size, and the warning goes away.
Is my GSTIN checked?
Its structure and check character are checked offline as you type, which catches most typos. Whether the GSTIN is active is shown only by the GST portal; for a fuller offline check use the GSTIN Validator.
Does the stamp on a PDF hide the text under it?
No. The stamp is multiplied onto the page like ink, so printed text under it stays readable, and you can lower the ink density.
