About the Presentation Maker (Make Slides, Save as PowerPoint or PDF)
Make a slide deck in your browser: pick one of ten themes (colours, fonts and backgrounds that every slide follows) and add slides with layouts for a title, a heading with points, two columns, a section break, a picture with a caption or a comparison. Put text boxes with bullets and numbering, shapes and arrows, pictures with cropping, tables, charts made from a table you paste from a spreadsheet, and icons on any slide, and write speaker notes under each one.
Present in full screen with the keyboard or a presentation clicker, and open the presenter view in a second tab for the current and next slide, your notes and a timer. Import a PowerPoint file, a Markdown outline or a pasted list to start faster. Your deck stays in this browser as you work. Without a pass, the deck is a free preview: everything works on the page, with a MySmartCoPilot preview mark across every slide. A Pro pass unlocks the clean PowerPoint (.pptx) with editable text, tables, native charts and notes, the PDF (one slide per page, real text), PNG or JPG pictures of every slide and a self-contained HTML presentation.
How to use it
- Start from the example deck, or open Open → Import and drop a PowerPoint file or paste an outline. Choose a theme and the slide size (16:9 or 4:3) under Format when no box is selected.
- Add slides with New slide and a layout. Double-click any text to edit it: Tab and Shift+Tab change a point’s level, Ctrl+B, I and U format the selected words.
- Add text, shapes, pictures, tables, charts and icons from the toolbar. Drag boxes to move them (they snap to the slide’s edges and middle), drag the handles to resize them, and set colours, fonts, sizes and position under Format.
- For a chart, paste a table from your spreadsheet into Data (series names in the first row, categories in the first column) and select Update the chart.
- Write your speaker notes, then select Present (F5). Open Presenter view for notes and a timer in a second tab. With a Pro pass, use Download for PowerPoint, PDF, slide pictures or HTML; without one they stay locked in the free preview.

What the PowerPoint file keeps
- Text stays editable: slide titles are real title placeholders (they show in the outline and are read by screen readers), and lists keep their bullets, numbering and levels.
- Charts are native charts with their numbers in an embedded workbook, so Edit Data works.
- Tables, shapes, lines and arrows, pictures with their crop, speaker notes, transitions and hidden slides come across as they are.
- Icons are SVG pictures with a PNG copy for apps that do not show SVG.
- Fonts: the themes use open-licence fonts (Inter, Poppins, Montserrat, Noto Sans, Anton, Bebas Neue, Caveat and Dancing Script). PowerPoint shows them when they are installed on the computer and a similar font when not; the PDF and the pictures carry the fonts with them.
Presenting with a projector or in a video call
Select Present in this tab and move the window to the projector, or share this tab in your video call. Open Presenter view in a second tab on your own screen: it shows the current and the next slide, your notes, a timer and the clock, and its buttons move the slides in the first tab. A presentation clicker works too, because clickers send the arrow or Page Up and Page Down keys. Press B for a black screen and Esc to stop.
Importing a PowerPoint file
Text boxes, bullets, pictures with their crop, tables, charts, grouped shapes, speaker notes, hidden slides and plain backgrounds come across. After the import a short list says what could not be kept, for example animations, videos (their poster picture stays), pictures in EMF or WMF format, gradient fills and fonts the editor does not have, which use the theme’s font instead.
Limitations
- Up to 200 slides and 100 MB of pictures in a deck; a slide holds up to 80 boxes.
- There are no animations of single boxes; slides can fade, push or wipe in.
- Charts are columns, bars, lines, areas, pies and doughnuts; scatter and combination charts are not made here.
- The PDF and the slide pictures carry the slide fonts: Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Vietnamese letters and nine Indian scripts. Characters none of them has, such as emoji or Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic or Thai writing, are left out of those files (the page names them when you download); the PowerPoint and HTML files keep them as text.
- The draft lives in this browser: save the project file to move a deck to another device or browser.

Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Presentation Maker (Make Slides, Save as PowerPoint or PDF) shows the whole deck to build, edit and present on this page, with a MySmartCoPilot preview mark across every slide. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
Can I keep editing the PowerPoint file?
Yes. Text, tables, shapes and charts are real PowerPoint objects, not pictures, so you can change them in PowerPoint or another presentation app. A chart’s numbers open with Edit Data.
How do I make slides from an outline?
Open Open → Import and paste Markdown (--- between slides, # titles, - points, Notes: for speaker notes) or a plain list where lines at the left margin are slide titles and indented lines are points.
Where is my deck saved?
In this browser’s storage on your device, as you work: reopen the page and it is there. Nothing is uploaded. Save a project file to keep a copy or to move it to another device.
Can it draft the slides for me with AI?
This tool is the editor. To get a first draft written for you, use the AI Presentation Maker, then open its PowerPoint file here to edit and present it.
Does the presenter view need a second screen?
No, but it helps. On one screen you can keep the presenter view in one tab and share the other tab in a video call; with a projector, move the presenting window to it.
