About the Weekly Planner & Time-Block Schedule
Plan a week hour by hour with time blocks: work, meetings, study, exercise, family and anything else you give a category. Click or tap an empty time to add a block, drag it to another time or day, drag its bottom edge to change its length, or use the keyboard. Mark a block as a routine and it repeats every week; set a goal in hours for each category and the planner shows how the week compares — two hours short on exercise, on target for work.
Keep a list of tasks beside the week, each with how long it takes, and drop them on the grid or let the planner put each one in the first open slot. The week follows your country’s first day of the week (Monday or Sunday, as you choose) and the 12- or 24-hour clock. Save a week as a template and start the next week from it, or press Start next week to keep the routines and clear the one-off blocks. Everything is kept in this browser.
Without a pass, the planner, the routines, the tasks, the totals and the templates work in full and the printable planner shows as a free preview. A Pro pass unlocks the printable planner as a PDF (A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape) and printing, the calendar file (.ics) of the week’s blocks with the routines repeating, and the week as text.
How to use it
- Pick a starting week — an office job, a student’s week, a deep-work week, a parent’s week — and press Use, or start blank. Set the week, the first day of the week, the hours shown and the clock.
- Click or tap an empty time to add a block, give it a title and a category, and tick Repeats every week for routines. Drag a block by its handle to move it, or its bottom edge to change its length.
- With the keyboard, select a block and use the arrow keys to move it, Shift and the arrow keys to change its length, and Delete to remove it.
- Add your tasks with how long each takes, then drop them on the grid or press Place to put each in the first open slot.
- Set a goal in hours for each category and read the totals: what each category gets this week, against its goal.
- With a Pro pass, download the printable planner, print it, add the week to your calendar or copy it as text; in the free preview the page is marked and these stay locked.
Examples
Monday 09:00–12:00 Deep work (Work, repeats every week) · Monday 14:00–15:00 Dentist (Personal)
Next week starts with the deep-work block again; the dentist is gone. In the calendar file the deep work repeats weekly, the dentist is a single event.
Exercise goal 3 h · blocks: Tuesday and Thursday 18:00–19:00
Exercise: 2 h of 3 h, 1 h short.
Task “Write the report”, 90 minutes · the grid shows 07:00–22:00, 30-minute steps, Monday taken until 13:00
Placed on Monday 13:00–14:30, the first open time of that length.
Common uses
- Protect time for focused work around meetings.
- Plan a study week around classes and a part-time job.
- Balance work, exercise and family time against weekly goals.
- Print a weekly planner for the fridge or the desk.
Time blocking
Time blocking gives every important piece of work, and every part of life you want to protect, its own time in the calendar — instead of a to-do list that grows faster than the day. Block the big things first (focused work, routines, family time), leave room for the unexpected, then fit the smaller tasks into the gaps. The planner shows when blocks overlap, and when blocks fall outside the hours the grid shows.
Routines, the next week and templates
- A routine happens every week: it stays when you press Start next week, and repeats weekly in the calendar file (for as many weeks as you choose, or with no end).
- Start next week moves to the week after, keeps the routines and the open tasks, and clears the one-off blocks.
- Save as a template keeps the whole week — categories, goals, blocks and open tasks — to start a week from later. Templates stay in this browser; a backup file holds them too.
Categories and goals
Each block can have a category, with a colour and a weekly goal in hours. The totals add up the hours of each category and say how they compare with the goal: on target, so much short, or so much over. Goals are your own targets — hours of focused work, of exercise, of family time — not rules.
The printable planner and the calendar file
- Printable planner: the week on one page, A4 or US Letter, portrait or landscape — the grid of the hours shown with every block in its colour, the hours by category against the goals, the open tasks with tick boxes and lines for notes.
- Calendar file (.ics): every block on its date in the iCalendar format (RFC 5545) that Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook import. Times are local clock times — a 07:00 run stays at 07:00 wherever your calendar is — and routines repeat weekly.
- Text: the week day by day, to paste into a message or a note.
Limitations
- One week is planned at a time: start the next week from the routines or from a template.
- The planner sends no reminders; import the calendar file into your calendar for those.
- Up to 300 blocks, 100 tasks and 12 categories in a week, and 20 templates in this browser.
- The PDF draws Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese letters; text in other scripts shows as “?” there. The calendar file and the text keep it.

Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Weekly Planner & Time-Block Schedule shows your week, its blocks, routines, tasks and hours by category in full on this device, and the planner as a page marked “MySmartCoPilot preview · not for use”. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded, copied or printed. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
How do I add a block?
Click or tap an empty time in a day’s column: a one-hour block appears there, ready for its title. With a mouse you can also drag down an empty column to draw a block of any length. The Add a block form does the same from the keyboard.
Can the week start on Sunday?
Yes. The planner starts with your country’s first day of the week and you can switch between Monday and Sunday; the blocks keep their days.
Do routines repeat in my calendar?
Yes, with a pass: in the calendar file a routine repeats every week, for the number of weeks you choose or with no end. One-off blocks are single events on their dates.
Can I use the 12-hour clock?
Yes. The planner starts with the clock your language uses and you can switch between the 12-hour and the 24-hour clock; the printable planner and the text follow it.
Where is my week kept?
In this browser on this device, never on a server. Save a backup file to keep it elsewhere or to open it on another device; it holds your templates too.
