No habits yet. Add one above, then tick each day you do it — the streak counts consecutive days.
Print, export and back up
Your lists are saved in this browser only (local storage). They are not uploaded and do not sync to other devices; clearing this site’s data deletes them, so back them up now and then. Import adds a backup’s lists, or a CSV or text file’s items to the list you are viewing.
About the To-Do List & Shopping List
A simple, private place for everything you need to remember. Keep as many lists as you like — to-do lists with due dates, priorities and repeating tasks, shopping lists with quantities and a running price total, packing lists, and daily habits with streaks. Tick things off, drag them into order, filter what is due today, and print or export any list.
There is no account and nothing to install: your lists are saved in this browser on this device and work offline. Nothing is uploaded — which also means nothing syncs, so use Back up all lists to keep a copy or move your lists to another device.
How to use it
- Pick a list from List, or press New list and choose To-do, Shopping, Packing or Habits.
- Type an item and press Add (or Enter). For tasks you can set a due date, a priority and a repeat; for shopping, a quantity, unit and price each. Add several at once takes a pasted list.
- Tick items as you go. A repeating task moves to its next date instead of staying ticked. Drag the handle (or focus it and press the arrow keys) to reorder.
- Use Show and Order to see what is due today or overdue, or sort by due date, priority or name. Edit changes an item; deleting can be undone.
- For habits, tick each day you did it. The streak counts the days in a row; you can tick a missed day up to a week back.
- Use Print this list, Export CSV or Back up all lists (JSON) to keep copies, and Import… to bring a backup or a CSV back.
Examples
Rice, 2 kg, 90 · Milk, 1.5 L, 60 · Eggs, 12, 7.50
Total ₹360 (2 × ₹90 + 1.5 × ₹60 + 12 × ₹7.50); ticking Milk moves ₹90 to “In the basket”
Pay rent · due 5 Oct · Every month
Ticking it moves the task to 5 Nov; a task due on the 31st moves to the last day of shorter months
Read 20 minutes · ticked Thu, Fri and Sat; today is Sunday
Streak 3 days (tick today to keep it) · best 3 days · 3 of the last 30 days
The streak still counts until the day is over; it resets if a whole day is missed.
Common uses
- Daily and weekly to-dos, bills and chores that repeat every week or month.
- Grocery and market shopping with a budget — see the total before you reach the counter.
- Packing for trips, moving house or events, ticked off as things go into the bag.
- Building habits — exercise, reading, water, practice — with an honest streak count.
Repeating tasks
Give a task a due date and choose Every day, Every weekday (Monday to Friday), Every week, Every month or Every year. When you tick it, it does not stay ticked: it moves to its next date, keeping its rhythm — a weekly Monday task stays on Mondays. If a repeating task was overdue, it moves to the next date after today rather than piling up. Monthly tasks due on the 29th–31st land on the last day of shorter months and return to their day afterwards.
How streaks are counted
A habit’s streak is the number of days in a row you ticked it, counting back from today. Until today is over, an unticked today does not break the streak — it counts up to yesterday and reminds you to tick today. Best is the longest run ever recorded, and the 30-day count shows how often you managed it lately. Days are your device’s calendar days, so travelling across time zones can shift what counts as “today”.
Import and export formats
- Back up all lists (JSON) saves every list, item and habit in one file — the best way to move to another browser or device. Import… adds the lists from such a file next to your own.
- Export CSV saves the list you are viewing with the columns Done, Item, Due, Priority, Repeat, Quantity, Unit, Price and Note; spreadsheets such as Excel and Google Sheets open it. Importing a CSV adds its rows to the list you are viewing (a column named Item, Task or Name is needed, or the first column is used).
- A plain text file (one item per line) can be imported too, and Copy as text copies a list with [x] marks for chat or email.
Limitations
- Lists live in this browser on this device only — no syncing, sharing or reminders by notification. Clearing site data, or a browser in private mode, removes them; back up with JSON.
- Up to 50 lists, 2,000 items per list and 50 habits per habit list.
- Habits are daily; habits for some days of the week only are not supported.
- Prices are added up as typed (quantity × price each) in the currency you choose for the list; there is no currency conversion.
Privacy
Your lists are stored only in this browser’s local storage on this device. They are never uploaded, and nothing on this page needs an account.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my lists saved?
In your browser’s local storage, on this device only. They stay there when you close the page, but not if you clear this site’s data or use a private window. Use Back up all lists (JSON) to keep a copy.
Can I use my list on my phone and my computer?
Not automatically — nothing is synced. Back up the lists as JSON on one device and use Import… on the other.
How do I make a task repeat every week?
Give it a due date and choose Every week under Repeat. Each time you tick it, it moves forward by a week.
How is the shopping total worked out?
Each item’s quantity × its price each (quantity 1 if left blank), added up. Still to buy and In the basket split the total between unticked and ticked items, and items without a price are counted separately.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, everything works without a connection, and changes are saved straight away on your device.
