About the Social Media Post Maker (Templates, Brand Kit, Resize & Animate)

Design a post for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube or WhatsApp from 320 templates — 20 themes (sales, quotes, announcements, hiring, events, tips, launches, festive greetings, real estate, restaurants, fitness, courses, webinars, beauty, travel, podcasts, giveaways, thank-you posts, testimonials and launch teasers) in 16 layouts. Type your words and they fit themselves to the space; drag any part to move it; add your photo and logo; set your brand colours and fonts once in the brand kit and every template takes them.

Resize in one click: choose another size and the same design is laid out again for that shape — square, portrait, 3:4, a 9:16 story with the words kept inside the safe area, a 1.91:1 link image or a 16:9 post. Animate it with an entrance for each part (fade, slide, pop, typewriter, wipe or zoom), a loop or an exit, for 2 to 15 seconds.

With a Pro pass, or once this design is unlocked, download it as PNG, JPG, PDF or SVG, every size at once as a ZIP, or the animation as MP4, GIF or animated WebP. The free preview on this page shows the post and its animation in the editor at preview size (up to 640 pixels), with a MySmartCoPilot watermark. Everything happens in your browser: your photos and logo are never uploaded.

    How to use it

    1. Choose the Size at the top (Instagram post, story, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube or WhatsApp), then a template under Templates — filter by theme or layout.
    2. Type your words under Text. Drag a part of the post to move it (it snaps to the middle), or select it under Elements to resize, hide or animate it; the arrow keys move the selected part too.
    3. Add your photo and logo under Photo & logo, and your colours and fonts under Style. Save them as your brand kit to put them on any template in one click.
    4. Under Animate, pick an animation style and a length, and press Play to watch it.
    5. Look at the Checks under the post (contrast, words that are too small or cut, the story safe area), then use Export: with a Pro pass, or after unlocking this design, download PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, all sizes as a ZIP, or the animation as MP4, GIF or WebP. Without a pass, the editor shows the watermarked free preview and the buttons show the ways to unlock.

    Common uses

    • Small businesses posting offers, menus, listings and announcements every week without a designer.
    • Turning one design into the feed post, the story, the LinkedIn image and the Pin in one go.
    • Short animated posts and WhatsApp status videos without a video editor.
    • Keeping every post on brand with saved colours, fonts and handle.

    The sizes

    • Instagram: 1080 × 1080 (1:1), 1080 × 1350 (4:5) and 1080 × 1440 (3:4); Instagram keeps any shape from 1.91:1 to 3:4 uncropped in the feed (Instagram Help Centre).
    • Stories and Reels: 1080 × 1920 (9:16). Meta asks to keep about the top 14% and the bottom 35% clear of text and logos, where the profile icon and buttons sit (Meta Ads Guide); the story layouts keep every word between those edges, and the editor draws them.
    • Facebook: 1080 × 1350 (4:5), the shape Meta recommends for Feed images (Meta Ads Guide) and 1200 × 630 for a shared link (Meta for Developers).
    • LinkedIn: 1200 × 1200 square (LinkedIn Help) and 1200 × 627 for a post with a link (LinkedIn Help).
    • X: 1600 × 900 (16:9); a single photo between 2:1 and 3:4 is shown in full (X Help Center).
    • Pinterest: 1000 × 1500 (2:3), the shape Pinterest recommends (Pinterest Business Help).
    • YouTube thumbnail: 1280 × 720, or 3840 × 2160 with 3× (YouTube Help).
    • WhatsApp status: 1080 × 1920; WhatsApp does not publish an image size, and 9:16 fills a phone screen.

    Resizing one design

Every template has a layout for wide, square, portrait and tall pages, and a story version that keeps the words inside the safe area. Changing the size keeps your words, photo, logo, colours, fonts and animation; each part takes its place in the new shape and its words fit themselves again. Parts you moved keep the move, as a share of the page; Reset place and size under Elements puts one back.

    The animation files

    • MP4: H.264 video at 30 frames a second, the format Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp take. It is made with your browser’s own video encoder (WebCodecs, in current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox); a browser that cannot encode MP4 makes WebM instead and says so.
    • GIF: 15 frames a second with one palette of 256 colours for the whole animation, so colours do not flicker; it loops forever. Photos lose some colour in a GIF.
    • Animated WebP: 15 frames a second in full colour, usually smaller than a GIF; it loops forever.

Half size makes the file about a quarter of the pixels, and much quicker to make. Animations have no sound.

    Templates, fonts and testimonials

The templates are drawn by this tool from shapes, patterns and type, with a frame for your own photo: there are no stock photos and no other brands’ logos in them. The fonts (Poppins, Montserrat, Inter, Anton, Bebas Neue, Dancing Script, Great Vibes, Caveat and Noto Sans) are under the SIL Open Font License and load from this site. Noto Sans and Poppins cover Hindi, Marathi and other Devanagari text. The testimonial theme is for real words from your customers, shared with their permission — the template text is only a placeholder.

    Limitations

    • Pictures are kept on this page while it is open. Designs saved in this browser keep the words, colours and layout; to keep the photo and logo too, download the design file.
    • There is no background remover here: make a cut-out PNG with Remove Background first and add it as the photo.
    • Animations are 2 to 15 seconds long and have no sound.
    • MP4 needs a browser with a video encoder (WebCodecs); GIF and WebP work in every current browser.
    • Emoji are drawn with your device’s emoji font.

    Privacy

On this device; its files download once

    Frequently asked questions

What do I get without a pass?

Without a pass, Social Media Post Maker (Templates, Brand Kit, Resize & Animate) shows your post and its animation in the editor at preview size (up to 640 pixels), with a MySmartCoPilot watermark across them. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.

    Are my photos uploaded?

No. The editor, the text fitting and every file are made in your browser; your photos and logo stay on your device.

Can I use the posts for my business?

Yes: the templates are this tool’s own designs, made for your posts, business ones included. The fonts are under the SIL Open Font License, which allows using them in pictures and videos. Use only photos and logos you have the right to use.

How do I make one design for Instagram, a story and LinkedIn?

Design it once, then change Size: the design is laid out again for each shape. Under Export, All sizes (ZIP) makes every size you tick in one file, with a pass or once the design is unlocked.

Why are my words getting smaller?

Each text fits itself to its space: longer words or more lines use a smaller size. Make the part bigger under Elements (Size), or use fewer words. The Checks say when text gets too small to read on a phone or had to be shortened.

Which format should I download for Instagram or WhatsApp?

For a still post, PNG (sharpest) or JPG (smaller). For a moving post, MP4: Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp take video, while a GIF is best for chats and websites.

Does it work in Hindi and other languages?

Yes. Choose Noto Sans or Poppins under Style for Devanagari; the Checks tell you when a font has no letters for your words and your device’s own font draws them instead.
