Forgot the passcode?
Nobody can open the register without it — not this site either, because the passcode never leaves this device. If you have an encrypted backup, delete this copy and restore the backup with its own passphrase. Otherwise you can only delete it and start again.

Where your register is kept
In this browser on this device only (IndexedDB). It is not uploaded or copied anywhere, so clearing this browser’s site data deletes it: download an encrypted backup regularly and keep it somewhere safe.
Encrypted backup
One file with the whole register, encrypted on this device with a passphrase you choose (AES-256). Keep the file somewhere safe and the passphrase too: without it the file cannot be opened. Backups always download, also without a pass.
Restore a backup
Restoring replaces the register on this device with the one in the file. A passcode set on this device stays.
Passcode lock
Export
Your register is yours: these files always download, also without a pass. CSV files open in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice; the JSON file is the whole register, not encrypted.
Import
Bring customer records in from a spreadsheet saved as CSV: the first row names the columns (download a template to see which). Rows with a problem are listed and left out. A JSON file exported from this register adds its records to this one.
Delete the register
Removes every customer record and the passcode from this browser. Download a backup first if you may need them.

About the Tailor & Boutique Order Book
An order book for a tailor’s shop or a boutique that runs in your browser and keeps everything on your own device. Each customer has a card of measurements for every garment you make for them — shirt, trousers, suit, kurta, salwar, blouse, lehenga or your own — in inches or centimetres, with your own extra fields, fit notes and an optional photo. Each order holds its garments with style and fabric notes and prices, the trial and delivery dates, the advance and later payments, the stitching status and the tailor making it.
Today lists what is overdue, due today, the trials of today and tomorrow and the orders ready to collect. Make an order slip for the customer and a measurement card for the workshop — on a 58 or 80 mm thermal roll or A5, printed with a pass or an unlock — and send each customer one WhatsApp or SMS message — order ready, trial, balance due — that opens with the text ready and that you send yourself. Reports count the work by status and by tailor, and list deliveries and balances due. Backups are encrypted, and your own data downloads as CSV. In the free preview the order book works in full; slips, cards and report sheets show as marked page images, and the reports show their counts and first rows; a Pro pass unlocks their PDFs, printing and phone pictures.
How to use it
- Open Settings: your shop’s name, address and phone, your tailors, the unit you measure in, the order and customer numbering, the slip and card paper (58 mm, 80 mm or A5) and the wording of your messages.
- Press New order, find the customer by name, phone or number — or add a new one — and press New order beside them. Add each garment with its quantity, price, style and fabric notes; set the trial and delivery dates, the tailor and the advance.
- Open the customer under Customers to add or update their measurements for each garment. A measurement card opens from the customer or from the order’s garment.
- Move each order on as the work goes: Start cutting, Start stitching, Mark ready, Delivered. Add payments as they come in; the balance follows.
- Use Today each morning, and send the ready, trial or balance message from an order with WhatsApp or SMS.
- Order slips, measurement cards and report sheets show as page images; their PDFs, printing and phone pictures need a Pro pass or an unlock of that document in the free preview. Under Data & backup, make an encrypted backup regularly; CSV files of your customers, orders and measurements always download.

Common uses
- A tailor’s shop taking orders at the counter and printing a slip for each customer.
- A boutique keeping every customer’s blouse, kurta and lehenga measurements for repeat orders.
- A workshop handing measurement cards to its tailors and tracking who is making what.
- Reminding customers of a trial or a ready order without typing each message.
Measurements for every garment
Each garment has its usual measurements: a shirt’s length, chest, waist, seat, shoulder, sleeve, sleeve round, cuff and collar; trousers’ length, waist, seat, thigh, knee, bottom and rise; a blouse’s bust, under bust, armhole and front and back neck depths, and so on for suits, kurtas, salwars and lehengas. Add your own fields to every card of a garment under Settings, or to one card only. Measurements are kept as you write them — 38½, 38 1/2 or 97 — with the card’s unit and the day it was measured.
Orders, trials and deliveries
An order moves from Received to Cutting, Stitching, Trial, Ready and Delivered (or Cancelled). Today shows the orders late for delivery, those due today, the trials of today and tomorrow and those ready to collect, with the days left or late. The order’s balance is its total — quantity × price, less any discount — minus the advance and every later payment.
Slips and cards on thermal rolls or A5
The order slip gives the customer the order number, the dates, the garments with their prices, what was paid and the balance due. The measurement card gives the workshop the customer’s measurements for one garment, the fit notes and the style and fabric notes of the order. Both are made for 58 mm and 80 mm thermal rolls exactly as long as their content, or for A5 paper; a thermal printer prints them through the browser’s print dialog with its own driver.
Messages you send yourself
From an order, WhatsApp opens a chat with that one customer with your message ready, using WhatsApp’s click-to-chat links (WhatsApp Help Center); SMS opens your messages app the same way. You read it and press Send. Nothing is ever sent from this page, and there is no sending to many customers at once. Change the wording under Settings → Messages: {name}, {order}, {trial}, {balance} and the other placeholders fill in by themselves.
Your data stays on this device
The order book is kept in this browser’s storage (IndexedDB) on this device and is never uploaded. With a passcode every record is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and the book locks itself after the minutes you choose; the encrypted backup is one file you keep and restore on another device. A customer’s photo is optional: ask before you take one. Nobody can recover a lost passcode or backup passphrase.
Limitations
- One device: the order book lives in one browser and does not sync. Move it with the encrypted backup.
- Messages are never sent automatically or to many customers at once: each one opens WhatsApp or SMS for you to send.
- Slips are order slips, not tax invoices; use an invoice generator for a tax invoice.
- A thermal printer prints through the browser’s print dialog, so it needs its driver installed.
Privacy
On this device; its files download once
Customers’ names, phone numbers, measurements, photos and orders stay in this browser on your device (IndexedDB), encrypted when you set a passcode. Slips, cards and reports are made on the device, and backups are encrypted on the device. Nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Tailor & Boutique Order Book shows the whole order book on this device, with slips and measurement cards as marked page images and the first rows of each report (up to 10). Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded, printed or shared. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
Where is the order book kept, and what if I change phones?
In this browser on this device only. Under Data & backup, download an encrypted backup and restore it on the new phone or computer with its passphrase. Back up regularly: clearing the browser’s site data deletes the order book.
Does it work on a phone without the internet?
Yes, once the page has been opened with a connection: customers, measurements and orders are kept on the phone. Slips and cards need the PDF engine and fonts, which download from this site the first time you open one.
Inches or centimetres?
Either: choose the unit for new cards under Settings, and change it on any card. Measurements are kept exactly as you write them, fractions included.
Can several tailors share one order book?
Tabs and windows of the same browser share it; different phones and computers each have their own. Assign each order to a tailor, and Work by tailor shows each one’s open orders and pieces.
Can it send messages to all my customers at once?
No, on purpose. Each message opens WhatsApp or your SMS app for one customer, and you send it yourself.
