About the Creator Platform Fee Calculator
Compare memberships, tips and digital sales with your entered platform, processing, app-store, payout, conversion and fee-tax components. Published platform components are supplied with their official source; a blank component is unknown, never automatically zero. Add your own platform and work backwards to a rounded price that leaves a target monthly amount.
The model separates collected sales tax from creator revenue, handles fixed-fee currencies with an entered rate, and rounds transaction charges and one monthly payout explicitly. A Pro pass opens complete monthly/yearly net comparisons, effective rates, minimum-payout checks, target prices, copy and exports.
How to use it
- Enter your price, monthly transaction count, sale/payout currencies, actual conversion rate and rounding precision.
- For each platform, confirm every applicable component. Enter zero only when a fee does not apply; add your platform if needed.
- Separate collected sales tax from VAT/GST on fees and enter the payout minimum in payout currency.
- Compare the estimate or enter a target monthly net and export the complete assumptions and results after unlock.
Published components and unknowns
Patreon pricing, Gumroad pricing and Buy Me a Coffee FAQ ground only the displayed published components. Payment-channel, plan, payout, conversion, app-store and tax terms can differ; unestablished components remain blank. The calculation uses creator gross excluding collected tax as the percentage fee base, per-transaction rounding, then one monthly conversion/payout. Check that those bases match your agreement.
Limitations
- This is a transparent estimate from entered assumptions, not a guaranteed platform settlement or financial/tax recommendation.
- No exchange rate, unpublished component, minimum balance or creator approval is looked up or guessed.
- Refunds, chargebacks, variable fee tiers and multiple-payout timing need separate entered scenarios.

Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Creator Platform Fee Calculator shows the number of complete estimates and first entered component rows; full net comparisons and target prices stay locked. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
Why does a platform show unknown net?
One or more applicable components are blank. Confirm the actual component or explicitly enter zero before a net amount is calculated.
Does collecting VAT make it creator income?
Collected and remitted sales tax is shown separately. VAT/GST charged on fees is a different cost entered in its own field.
