About the AI Chat Assistant (Ask MySmartCoPilot Anything)
One box for everyday questions. Type a calculation — “18% of 2,500”, “convert 5 feet 8 inches to cm”, “what time is it in London” — and MySmartCoPilot’s own engines answer at once, without AI. Describe a job — “compress a PDF”, “jpg to png” — and you get the right tool, with your text handed over when it fits. Ask how to do something here, or whether your files are uploaded, and the answer comes from MySmartCoPilot’s own tool, pricing and privacy pages, with links to them. Ask a factual question — “Who was Aryabhata?” — and the answer is written from Wikipedia passages, with numbered citations to the articles.
Every written answer is checked sentence by sentence against the passages it cites before you see it, and when the passages don’t answer the question it says so instead of guessing. Answers are written by your browser’s built-in AI, by a language model on your device or — with a pass, after you agree — by MySmartCoPilot’s cloud AI; each one is labelled. For open-ended writing and brainstorming it hands your message to Ask MySmartCoPilot, the site’s AI chat. It never gives personal medical, legal or financial advice, doesn’t play people or characters, and keeps nothing after you leave the page.
How to use it
- Type a question, a calculation or a job in the box and press Ask (or Enter). Each answer says where it came from: Calculated, Tool finder, MySmartCoPilot’s pages, Wikipedia or Ask MySmartCoPilot.
- For a written answer, the AI panel asks the first time where it may be written: your browser’s built-in AI, an on-device model after a one-time download (its size is shown first) or MySmartCoPilot’s cloud AI with a pass. Without any of them you still get the best-matching sentences of the sources.
- Open a citation such as [1] or a source link to read the passage in its article or on its page, and open a suggested tool to carry on there, with your text filled in when it fits.
- For writing or brainstorming, press Continue in Ask MySmartCoPilot to send your message to the site’s AI chat.
- With a Pro pass, Copy the conversation or Download it as Markdown or plain text; without one you see the free preview, which shows the first half of each written answer.

How do I compress a PDF to under 200 KB?
The steps from the PDF compressor’s own page, cited to that page, with the tool to open next.

A few sentences from the Wikipedia article “Aryabhata”, each with a citation, and the article’s licence credit.

How each message is answered
Before anything is sent anywhere, every message is read by rules, in this order. A message about harming yourself shows support lines (Tele-MANAS 14416 in India) instead of an answer, a short message about feeling low gets a kind pointer to people who can help, and requests the site never answers are refused. A request for personal medical, legal or financial advice gets a referral to a professional. A calculation is answered by the same engines as the site’s search box and the Scientific Calculator. A question about MySmartCoPilot, or about how to do something with its tools, is answered from the site’s own pages. A job a tool does gets the tool, and so does a question about your own numbers (“What would be my EMI?”). Open-ended writing goes to Ask MySmartCoPilot. A factual question is answered from Wikipedia.
Written answers use only the passages found for the question. Each sentence must be largely made of words of the passage it cites, and a sentence with a number, a date or an amount the passages don’t contain is removed; what is left is shown with its citations.
Limitations
- Factual answers come from Wikipedia alone (English, or Hindi for a question written in Devanagari), so they can be incomplete or out of date, and recent events may be missing. Check the cited articles.
- Help answers read the pages of the best-matching tools and the site’s pricing, refund, privacy, terms and AI pages; they cannot see your account, a pass or a payment.
- It does not browse the web, remember earlier conversations or write open-ended text itself; open-ended requests continue in Ask MySmartCoPilot, which answers from its own daily allowance.
- An answer written on your device needs your browser’s built-in AI or a one-time model download (about 347 MB on phones, about 980 MB on computers) and a device that can run it.
- A message can be up to 800 characters, and a conversation up to 30 questions.
Privacy
Calculations, tool suggestions and help answers are worked out in your browser, which reads MySmartCoPilot’s own pages. A factual question is sent to Wikipedia’s public search (Wikimedia Foundation), with e-mail addresses, links and long numbers removed first. Answers are written by your browser’s built-in AI, by a language model downloaded once from MySmartCoPilot after you agree (the size is shown first), or — only if you choose it, with a pass — by MySmartCoPilot’s cloud AI, which then gets your question and the few passages it needs. “Continue in Ask MySmartCoPilot” opens the site’s AI chat with your message.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, AI Chat Assistant (Ask MySmartCoPilot Anything) shows the first half of each written answer’s words (up to 100) with its sources; calculations, tool suggestions and safety notes show in full. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
Is this the same as Ask MySmartCoPilot?
It is the quick-answer side of it: calculations, tools, help with the site and cited facts, worked out on your device where possible. Ask MySmartCoPilot is the site’s full AI chat; open-ended requests are handed to it when you press Continue in Ask MySmartCoPilot.
Where do the answers come from?
Calculations from MySmartCoPilot’s own engines; tool suggestions from the site’s tool list; help answers from the site’s own pages; factual answers from Wikipedia articles, credited under their licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). Every answer names its source, and written answers cite the passage of each sentence.
What is sent, and to whom?
A factual question goes to Wikipedia’s public search, with e-mail addresses, links and long numbers removed first. Nothing else leaves your browser unless you choose MySmartCoPilot’s cloud AI for an answer (with a pass, after a dialog shows exactly what is sent: your question and the few passages it needs) or continue in Ask MySmartCoPilot. The conversation is kept only in this page.
Can it give medical, legal or financial advice?
No. Questions asking for personal advice, including whether to buy, sell or hold a stock, a fund or crypto, get a referral to a doctor, a lawyer or a registered adviser. If you are struggling, in India you can call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416; elsewhere, call your local emergency number or a crisis line.
Which AI writes the answers?
Your browser’s built-in AI or a language model downloaded to your device, named on each answer, or MySmartCoPilot’s cloud AI when you choose it. Calculations and tool suggestions use no AI, and every answer is labelled with where it was made.
