About the Seamless Texture Maker
Create repeating material tiles from your own photo. Edge blending joins opposite image borders; mirror tiling creates a symmetric repeat. Inspect the complete result with a nine-tile view and a half-tile offset before exporting.
How to use it
- Choose a photo or a texture.
- Select edge blending or mirror tiling and positive power-of-two output dimensions.
- Adjust a blend width that fits the image and inspect nine repeats plus the offset view.

Limitations
- Edge blending removes endpoint discontinuities but cannot guarantee that recognisable subjects repeat naturally. The nine-tile and offset views help judge the result.
- Mirror tiling creates a symmetric pattern. Blend width must fit within half the smaller output edge.
- PNG retains alpha. JPG has no alpha and is flattened onto your selected RGB background.
- Each edge must be a power of two, and the device needs enough memory for the size; there is no other file or pixel limit.

Why power-of-two dimensions?
They are commonly used by texture pipelines. Choose each edge separately, such as 512×1024, rather than assuming the image must be square.
Why does a JPG look different around transparency?
JPG cannot store alpha. The selected background fills transparent areas before encoding.
