About the DP Frame & Campaign Photo Frame Maker

Make a profile picture (DP) in a campaign or event frame — the kind organisers share for festivals, college fests, conferences, NGOs and drives, often called a Twibbon. Choose one of eight original frames and type your own text and colours, or upload the PNG frame your organiser made. Then add your photo and place it behind the frame: drag to move it, pinch or scroll to zoom, turn two fingers (or use the slider) to rotate, and mirror it if you like.

Save a square PNG or JPG at 400 to 2048 pixels; the circle crop guide shows how it will look where apps show profile pictures as circles. Copy share link gives others the same built-in frame, text and colours, so a whole group can make matching pictures. Your photo and any frame you upload stay on your device — they are never uploaded and never part of a link.

How to use it

  1. Pick a frame from the strip — or Your own frame to upload a PNG with a transparent window.
  2. For a built-in frame, type the main text and second line and pick colours.
  3. Add your photo, then drag, zoom and rotate it until your face sits nicely in the window (arrow keys, + − and [ ] work too).
  4. Choose the size and format and select Download. To get others to use the same frame, select Copy share link and send it.

Common uses

  • Festival greetings — Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Onam, Pongal — with your family photo
  • College fests, conferences and hackathons: “I’m attending” pictures for participants
  • NGO drives, blood donation and clean-up campaigns: one frame for every volunteer
  • Weddings, graduations and team events with a shared look

Using your own frame

Use a PNG or WebP with a transparent area where the photo should show; your photo is drawn behind it, and the transparent part is where it shows. The tool finds the transparent area around the frame’s centre and fits your photo to it. If the middle is not transparent — say, a JPG, or a PNG with a white circle in the middle — Make the centre transparent removes that colour from the middle outwards (adjust the tolerance if it takes too much or too little).

You must have the right to use the frame and everything in it: designs, logos, photos and text. Use frames your organiser gave you, or ones you made yourself.

National symbols

The built-in frames contain no national symbols. In your own frames and text, do not use the State Emblem of India: the Lion Capital of Ashoka at Sarnath, with the motto Satyameva Jayate below it, which the Act’s Schedule makes part of the emblem. The State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005 forbids using the emblem, or an imitation of it, in a way that suggests a link with the Government or an official document, unless the Government has given permission (section 3), and using it for any trade, business, calling or profession (section 4). Breaking section 3 can mean up to two years in prison, a fine of up to ₹5,000, or both; a repeat offence, and use for wrongful gain under section 4, carry at least six months (section 7). The tool warns when the frame text — typed, or arriving in a share link — contains the motto or names a government body.

Share links

A share link records only the built-in frame, the two lines of text and the two colours, in the part of the address after the “#”, which browsers do not send to the server. Anyone who opens it sees the same frame, ready for their photo. Frames you upload are never part of a link.

Limitations

  • Built-in frames are square; your own frames are kept at their own proportions.
  • Animated frames (GIF, APNG) are used as a still image.
  • Text uses the site’s own fonts (Poppins and Caveat) with your device’s fonts for other scripts; very long text is shrunk to fit.
  • The tool cannot check that you have the rights to an uploaded frame, or recognise emblems in it — that is up to you.

Privacy

Everything happens in your browser. What you enter or open here is not uploaded or stored by MySmartCoPilot.

Frequently asked questions

What size should a DP be?

Square. 1080 × 1080 px is comfortably above the profile-photo sizes that X, LinkedIn and Facebook publish, so it stays sharp; see Social Media Image Sizes for each platform. Turn on the circle crop guide to keep faces and text inside the circle that many apps show.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The picture is put together in your browser and saved straight to your device. Share links contain only the built-in frame’s text and colours.

How do I make a frame for my event that everyone can use?

Pick a built-in frame, type your event’s name and a second line, choose colours, then Copy share link and post it. Each person opens the link, adds their photo and downloads their own picture. If you designed your own PNG frame instead, send people the PNG and this page: they choose Your own frame and upload it.

Why is there a coloured gap around my photo?

The photo does not cover the whole window. Zoom in or press Fill window; the Background colour fills any gap.

Can I use the national flag or the State Emblem in a frame?

The State Emblem of India must not be used in a way that suggests a government link, or for business (see National symbols above). The use of the national flag is governed by the Flag Code of India, 2002 and the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, which the Ministry of Home Affairs publishes on its page about the national flag, emblem and anthem. The built-in frames contain neither the flag nor the emblem; for anything official, use the frame the government body itself publishes.
