Pen Pressure Tester
Read browser pen pressure, tilt and twist; retain complete strokes and input samples.
Pressure-sensitive drawing
Pen, touch, mouse and hover events remain separate. This page reports what the browser receives; it does not diagnose tablet firmware.
Recent pressure curve
No device events yet.
The displayed window is limited for readability. Every recorded event stays in the complete local session; no device sample is fabricated.
About the Pen Pressure Tester
Read the pointer pressure, tilt and twist your browser receives, draw pressure-sensitive strokes and export a complete local test report.
This reports browser Pointer Events, not tablet firmware calibration. Constant 0.5, mouse-mode input or missing pressure needs driver/browser review. Readings come from the actual device events exposed to this page. Keep the original device settings and complete raw log when reviewing a result; displayed windows are only a readable view of the full session.
How to use it
- Draw with the pen in the labelled canvas. The stroke follows reported pressure; barrel and eraser buttons remain visible in the exact samples.
- Inspect pressure, tilt, twist and the observed event rate. Coalesced events count separately; hover, touch and mouse samples are not treated as pen contact.
- Use the pressure chart to compare light and firm strokes. A constant 0.5 reading is reported without inventing a hardware pressure curve.
- Export the complete stroke PNG and all-sample local report for support, or reset the current session. Nothing is uploaded.
Limitations
- This reports browser Pointer Events, not tablet firmware calibration. Constant 0.5, mouse-mode input or missing pressure needs driver/browser review.
- Permissions, policy, drivers and physical device delivery require real browser/device release checks.
- No compatibility certificate or inferred hardware fault is produced from timing or a single observed value.
Privacy
On this device: nothing is sent
Pointer samples and stroke pixels stay in this browser. PNG and sample-report exports save your observed input locally; nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool send device data to a server?
No. Device events, bytes and local records stay in this browser. Export them deliberately when you need support.
What does an unsupported browser show?
The actual capability and permission error is explained. No fabricated device reading replaces an unavailable API.
