Web Serial is feature-detected; USB-serial device support depends on browser, operating-system drivers and permissions. Readings come from the actual device events exposed to this page. Keep the original device settings and complete raw log when reviewing a result; displayed windows are only a readable view of the full session.
How to use it
- Connect only a device you own and understand. Choose its exact baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits and flow control.
- Choose text or hex, send the selected line ending or exact raw bytes, and save named command macros locally.
- Emit Arduino-style numeric lines to plot several labelled series. GPS GGA and RMC sentences are checksum checked before coordinates are shown.
- Disconnect or reset deliberately. The complete raw log stays yours in the free preview; the derived plot and GPS reports need a Pro pass.
Limitations
- Web Serial is feature-detected; USB-serial device support depends on browser, operating-system drivers and permissions.
- Permissions, policy, drivers and physical device delivery require real browser/device release checks.
- No compatibility certificate or inferred hardware fault is produced from timing or a single observed value.
