About the Order Form & Payment Page Builder (Auto Totals, UPI QR)

Build order, quote, fee, donation and registration forms whose totals work themselves out: products with quantities, line items, choices and add-ons with prices, amounts people type, delivery charges, discount codes, tax added or included, and your own formulas (a rush fee of 30%, a bulk discount, nights × rooms). Add a signature (drawn or typed), file uploads, an order bump on a single-product checkout and a one-time offer on the thank-you page — and try every part of it right here, as a buyer would.

When an order is placed, the buyer sees the exact amount as your UPI QR code and payment link (with the order number in the note), a PayPal.me link with the amount, or your own payment link, and can send the payment reference afterwards. The order, with a number taken in turn so no two orders get the same one, goes to your own spreadsheet; signatures and uploads to your own drive; you and the buyer get an e-mail. The script in your own account works every total out again instead of trusting the page.

MySmartCoPilot hosts nothing of your form, never sees an order and never touches money. Without a pass you can build and test everything, and the files show their first lines; a Premium pass gives the whole form, page, script and guide to copy or download.

How to use it

  1. Start from a template under Form (order form, single-product checkout, event registration, fee payment, quote request or donation), then set the title, your business name, the currency and the colour.
  2. Under Fields, change the questions: products, line items, choices and add-ons with prices, amounts, text, dates, a signature or an upload. Each priced field has a name you can use in formulas.
  3. Under Pricing, set the tax, the delivery options and the discount codes, and add your own formulas, such as subtotal * 0.05 for a service charge.
  4. Under Bump & offer add an order bump and a one-time offer, and under Payment your UPI ID, PayPal.me name or payment link.
  5. Test the form in the live preview: the totals follow every answer, a code applies, and a test order shows the thank-you page, the offer and the payment step.
  6. Follow the steps under Publish: make a Google Sheet, paste the script into Extensions → Apps Script, run setup, deploy it as a web app (Execute as: Me, Who has access: Anyone) and paste its address under Publish.
  7. Take the files under Your files — with a Premium pass, or after unlocking this result; the free preview shows their first lines. Paste the form into your site (in WordPress: a Custom HTML block), place a test order, then switch test mode off.

Examples

A cake order with delivery and a code
Input
2 × Chocolate truffle (₹650) + Cupcakes (₹300) · code WELCOME10 (10% off orders of ₹500 or more) · Home delivery ₹60, no charge from ₹1,500
Result
Subtotal ₹1,600.00, discount −₹160.00, so ₹1,440.00 stays under ₹1,500 and delivery ₹60.00 is charged: total ₹1,500.00. The buyer sees a UPI code for exactly ₹1,500.00 with the note “Order CAKE-0001”.
A course fee worked out by formulas
Input
Science ₹2,000 a month · 4 months · formulas course * months and if(months >= 3, -fee * 0.05, 0)
Result
Course fee ₹8,000.00, then “Three months or more (5% off)” −₹400.00: total ₹7,600.00. With 2 months the second line is ₹0 and the total ₹4,000.00.
A checkout with an order bump and a one-time offer
Input
Online course ₹1,999 + the workbook bump ₹299, GST 18% included · after the order: a 1-to-1 session for ₹999
Result
Total ₹2,298.00 (includes GST ₹350.54). The buyer takes the offer on the thank-you page, the same order becomes ₹3,297.00 in your spreadsheet, and the payment step asks for ₹3,297.00.

Common uses

  • A bakery, caterer or home kitchen taking orders with a delivery date and delivery or pickup.
  • A coach or creator selling one course or product with an order bump and an upsell.
  • A tuition centre, school or club collecting fees, or an organiser selling event tickets.
  • A designer, contractor or agency giving an instant estimate that the client signs.
  • A charity or temple collecting donations by UPI with quick amounts.

How the totals are worked out

Every price is kept in whole paise or cents. The lines come first (products × quantity, choices, add-ons, line items, number × price, typed amounts, the order bump and the one-time offer), then your formulas in order, then the discount code on that total, then delivery, then tax: added on top, or included in the prices and shown as “Includes GST 18%”. Tax is worked out once on the taxable total after the discount, rounded half away from zero. The same engine runs in the live preview, on your page and in your script, and the script recomputes the total from the answers, so a changed page can never lower a price.

Your own formulas

A formula uses numbers, + − × ÷ % ^, comparisons, and/or/not, the functions min, max, round, floor, ceil, abs, if and clamp, the names of your priced fields (a product is its quantity, a choice its price, a date its day number, so checkout - checkin gives the nights — write max(0, checkout - checkin), so dates picked the wrong way round never take money off), subtotal, quantity and earlier formulas. It is read by a small parser into steps and worked out step by step — never run as code — so a formula cannot do anything but give a number. Dividing by zero gives 0, and a mistake is named with where it is before any file is made.

Payments go straight to you

The payment step shows the amount due as your UPI QR code and a link that opens the buyer’s UPI app (the UPI ID, your payee name, the amount and the note with the order number: UPI payment parameters), a PayPal.me link with the amount and the currency (PayPal.me links) or your own payment link. The buyer pays you directly; afterwards they can send the transaction ID or UTR number, which goes into the order’s row. Check it against your bank statement before you treat an order as paid — the UPI Payment Reconciliation tool matches a statement to your orders.

Order numbers, codes and e-mails in your own account

Your script takes each order under the script lock (Lock Service), so order numbers never repeat and a code with a use limit cannot be used once too often. Discount codes are not written in your page: it keeps only a fingerprint of each, and the script checks every code again. The e-mail to the buyer holds only your own wording, the products and the amounts — never what the buyer typed — and goes to one address at most three times in six hours, so nobody can use your form to send messages from your account. Your account’s own limits apply (quotas): 100 e-mail recipients a day on a personal account, 1,500 on a business account, and each order sends up to two.

Your buyers’ data

Names, contact details, answers, signatures and uploads go from the buyer’s browser straight to your own spreadsheet and drive; MySmartCoPilot never receives them. You are responsible for them: say on your form why you collect them and how long you keep them, ask only for what you need, and delete old orders when you no longer need them.

Limitations

  • It takes orders and shows how to pay; it does not take card payments or confirm that a payment arrived — the buyer’s reference and your bank statement do that.
  • UPI is for rupees only. If the UPI link does not open the buyer’s app on their phone, the QR code and your UPI ID beside it still work.
  • Uploads and signatures of one order are kept to 10 MB in all, because they travel to your script in one message.
  • The payment reference and the one-time offer can be sent from the order page for six hours after the order.
  • The first order after a quiet spell can take a few seconds while your script starts.

Privacy

The set-up is kept in this browser (and in settings files you save yourself) and is never uploaded. Test orders in the live preview exist only in this page. On your own site, orders go from your buyers straight to your own spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions

What do I get without a pass?

Without a pass, Order Form & Payment Page Builder (Auto Totals, UPI QR) shows your form working in the live preview with live totals and the payment step under a MySmartCoPilot mark, and the first lines (up to 20) of each file. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.

Do I need a pass?

To download or copy the full files, yes: a Premium pass unlocks every Premium tool. Without a pass you see a free preview of your own result: your form working in the live preview, with live totals and the payment step, and the first lines of each file. Your settings file always downloads.

Does MySmartCoPilot see my orders or my money?

No. The script runs in your own account and the form on your site talks to it directly. Payments go from the buyer to your UPI ID, PayPal account or payment link; nothing of your form is hosted by MySmartCoPilot.

Can a buyer change the price?

Not in your spreadsheet. Your script works the total out again from the answers, with your own prices, codes and rules, and the payment step shows the amount the script worked out.

Can two orders get the same number?

No. Each order waits for the script lock, and the next number is taken under it.

Will it work on my website builder?

Anywhere you can paste HTML with a script: WordPress (Custom HTML block), most site builders’ embed or HTML elements, or your own pages. If you cannot add scripts, upload the form’s own page to any web host and link to it.

How do I change the form later?

Open this page in the same browser (or open your settings file), change the set-up, take the files again, paste the new script into your project and deploy a new version. The web app address stays the same; paste the new form if you changed fields or prices.
