Compare complete pasted main-content text locally. This is a declared similarity calculation, not a plagiarism or search-ranking verdict.

Every text and pair is processed. Zero-window comparisons are undefined. Large comparisons run in a local worker and depend on your device.

Paste texts, then compare the current input.

About the Duplicate Content Checker — Pasted Text

Compare complete main-content text from the pages you choose. The browser builds exact sets of overlapping word sequences, calculates every pair’s Jaccard similarity and shows the full grid plus shared passages mapped to their original text. No URL is fetched, no web search is performed and no plagiarism or search-ranking verdict is produced.

How to use it

  1. Paste each page’s complete main content and give it a distinct label.
  2. Choose the word-shingle length and explicit case/Unicode comparison rules.
  3. Review the full grid and shared original passages, then export the complete current report after unlock.

Declared arithmetic and method

Jaccard similarity = shared unique shingles ÷ the union of unique shingles. Repeated occurrences do not multiply a set score. A zero-window union is undefined. Unicode word segmentation and optional case/NFC normalization are explicit rules, not a complete linguistic model. See the author’s near-duplicate document research and canonical URL guidance for context; this tool performs its declared exact set calculation rather than reproducing an engine’s ranking system.

Limitations

  • Paste main content deliberately; navigation, repeated boilerplate and punctuation/word-segmentation choices can affect comparisons.
  • Short texts may contain no complete shingles. Undefined is not a claim of identical or unrelated content.
  • All supplied pages and pairs are retained without an own page/text quota; large complete comparisons depend on your device resources.
  • Live page fetching and URL-based comparison are unavailable in this local mode. The tool does not search for copies online.

Privacy

On this device: nothing is sent

Your text stays in this page and its local comparison worker. It is not uploaded, fetched from a URL or persisted.

Frequently asked questions

What do I get without a pass?

Without a pass, Duplicate Content Checker — Pasted Text shows page labels with similarity values, shared passages and complete exports hidden. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.

Is the score a plagiarism or SEO penalty verdict?

No. It is only the stated exact overlap of your supplied word-shingle sets. Context and any search engine decision remain separate.

Are repeated passages or extra pages discarded?

No. Every page pair is computed and shared passages retain their source offsets and mapped right-hand occurrences. Exact set counts remain distinct from occurrence counts.
