About Turbo Courier: One More Run

Turbo Courier: One More Run is a short, sharp arcade game set in a round robot repair arena. You run Sprocket, the brass repair hub in the middle of the pit. Robots on the blink stagger in from the rim toward you: boxy walkers, quick rollers, wobbling drones, armoured bruisers that need three patches and, now and then, a golden courier bot.

Swing the repair arm round the hub and fire patch bolts along it. A mended robot blinks green, spins with joy and rolls back out. Mends in quick succession build a chain and climb the multiplier, and fifteen patches in one chain trip a Full Reboot: the floodlights snap on and every robot in the pit is mended at once. A broken robot that reaches the hub blows a fuse, and three blown fuses end the run. The pit gets busier fast, so a run lasts about a minute, and the next one starts at once.

The golden bots carry the game's twist. Patch one and it drops a tool chip; shoot the chip to load its tool. The Pulse mends every robot near the hub, the Foam slows the whole pit and the Welder turns the arm into a beam. The slot holds a single tool with a few charges, and loading a different chip swaps out what you had, so every chip asks the same question: keep, swap or spend. Every run draws a pit rule, the daily run is the same pit for everyone, and Pace, Assist and an aim line are in the settings. Scores and badges stay in this browser.

How to play

  1. Turn the repair arm with the arrow keys, A and D, the D-pad or the on-screen pair, point it with a stick, or tap the pit to aim and fire.
  2. Fire patch bolts (Space, Ⓐ, the Fire button) at the robots coming in. Bruisers need three patches, golden bots two.
  3. Mends in quick succession build the chain and the multiplier. A broken robot at the hub blows a fuse; three end the run.
  4. Shoot a tool chip to load its tool, then Use tool (E, Ⓧ) to spend a charge. A new chip of another kind swaps out the old one.
  5. Fifteen patches in a chain trip a Full Reboot that mends the whole pit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I mend a robot?

Point the repair arm at it and fire. The first robot along the arm takes the bolt. Walkers, rollers and drones need one patch, golden bots two and bruisers three.

What are tool chips?

A patched golden bot drops one. Shoot it to load its tool: the Pulse mends every robot near the hub, the Foam slows the pit for four seconds and the Welder turns the arm into a beam for a moment.

Why did my tool change?

The slot holds one tool. Loading a chip of the same tool adds charges; loading a different one swaps your tool and its charges out. Leave a chip alone to keep what you have.

What is a Full Reboot?

Fifteen patches in one quick chain. The floodlights come on and every broken robot in the pit is mended at once, with bonus points for each.

Is there an easier way to play?

Yes. Pace set to Relaxed runs the pit at three-quarter speed, Assist widens what a bolt can hit and adds a breather between waves, and the aim line shows where a bolt will go.

Does the game save?

A run you leave is kept in this browser and picks up at the start of its wave, tool and all. Best scores, the daily result and badges stay in this browser and are never uploaded.
