About Neon Pulse: Score After Dark
Neon Pulse: Score After Dark is a night score chase in a parcel depot lit only by neon. Four conveyor belts carry glowing parcels toward the chutes at their ends, and you fly a pink pulse sled over the floor. Touch a parcel and it is scanned onto your sled's stack; dock on the dispatch pad and the stack is banked into your score, with a bonus that grows the longer the stack rode. Carry too long and a sorting gate, a scanner beam, a pulse, a jam or a forklift will bust the stack and cost you one of three charge cells.
Every parcel you let fall down a chute changes the next wave: it comes back return-to-sender, red-tagged, faster and worth more, and it leaves a jam on the floor where it fell; let six drop in one wave and the backlog alarm costs you a cell as well. Each night adds a rule of its own, such as Express night, Heavy freight, Scanner sweep or Two docks, and climbing the multiplier to ×8 sets off Midnight Dispatch: the depot lights go out, only the parcels and the pads glow, and every bank counts double. Work twelve waves through to dawn. The daily night shift is the same for everyone today, your best run of it flies beside you as a ghost, and your records stay on this device.
How to play
- Fly the sled with the arrow keys or WASD, a controller's left stick, or the on-screen stick on a touch screen.
- Touch parcels on the belts to scan them onto your stack (up to eight). Their points ride with you until you bank them.
- Dock on the glowing dispatch pad to bank the stack. The longer it rode, the bigger the bonus.
- Gates, scanner beams, pulses, jams and forklifts show a dashed outline before they can hurt. A hit busts the stack and costs a charge cell.
- Dash with Space, Shift or Ⓐ to slip straight through a hazard; a pass that close counts as a near-miss and feeds the multiplier.
- A parcel that falls down a chute comes back next wave, red-tagged and faster, and leaves a jam behind. Six drops in one wave set off the backlog alarm, which costs a cell.
- Climb the multiplier to ×8 for Midnight Dispatch: the lights go out and every bank counts double for eight seconds.
Controls
- Arrow keys or WASD, left stick or the on-screen stick — fly the sled

Frequently asked questions
How long is a shift?
Twelve waves to dawn, about three minutes if you survive them all. Three hits end the shift sooner, so a first run can last only seconds.
Why bank instead of carrying more?
A banked stack is safe in your score. A stack you carry earns a bigger bonus the longer it rides, but one hit loses all of it.
What happens to a parcel I miss?
It drops down the chute and comes back in the next wave, red-tagged, faster and worth more, and a jam appears on the floor where it fell.
What is the daily night shift?
The same waves and the same night rule for everyone today. Your best run of it is kept as a ghost that flies beside you, on this device only.
Can I slow it down?
Yes. In Settings, Pace: Relaxed runs the whole game at three-quarter speed, and Assist makes parcels easier to reach and hazards smaller.
