About Sudoku
A browser version of the classic number-placement puzzle. Every puzzle is generated fresh, checked to have exactly one solution, and offered at Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty by how many starting numbers are given.
Nothing here involves betting or prizes — it is a quiet, free logic puzzle for a short break.
How to play
- Choose a difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Click a cell, then type a number from 1 to 9 to fill it.
- Fill the grid so each row, column and 3x3 box contains every digit 1-9 exactly once.
- Conflicting cells are highlighted so you can spot a mistake right away.

Frequently asked questions
Is every puzzle guaranteed to have exactly one solution?
Yes — the generator removes starting numbers one at a time and only keeps a removal if the puzzle still has exactly one solution.
What is the difference between the difficulty levels?
Harder difficulties start with fewer filled-in numbers, so you have to deduce more of the grid yourself.
