About Skybound Foundry: Momentum Garden
Skybound Foundry: Momentum Garden is a flowing platformer set in a forgotten toy workshop at night. You are Tin, a little wind-up mouse with a golden key on her back, and every level is a long run along a shelf from a start gate to an exit door, with a conveyor belt along the floor and another along the roof. The floors are slippery, so speed carries, and the belts are the heart of it: a belt with you throws you forward at a speed you could never run, and a belt against you is a hill you have to earn. Gaps that look impossible are easy when you take them on a belt, and the roof belts are there for the moment you turn gravity over.
Gravity turns over at brass winders, once per visit, and a key on your back, charged by time and by the brass cogs you collect, will wind time back a moment when a jump goes wrong. It costs points and the best star, so it is a mercy rather than a habit. A flow meter fills while you move fast and drains when you stop, its multiplier raises everything you earn, and rings along the route pay by the speed you pass them at. The key on Tin’s back spins faster with the flow.
Every level has a rival. The Tin Racer, a red clockwork runner, follows a proved route and always reaches the door exactly at the par time. Beat it for two stars; beat it in a high flow without winding time back for three. When you reach the door, the sleeping toys on the shelves, a bear, a top, a train, a duck, a drum and a jack-in-the-box, wake one after another in a parade. Once two rooms are cleared, each session adds one twist, a daily level is chosen for everyone, and your best clear is kept as a faint ghost. Pace and Assist are in the settings.
How to play
- Run with the arrow keys or A and D and jump with Space, Z or the up arrow. On a phone use the on-screen arrows and buttons.
- Conveyor belts carry you along: use them for speed, and cross the ones against you with a good run-up.
- Press E, C or Shift on a brass winder to turn gravity over; the roof has belts too.
- Press Q when the key is charged to wind time back a moment. It costs points and the third star.
- Reach the door before the Tin Racer. Press R to restart a level, and V to hear where you are and where the racer is.

Frequently asked questions
How do the belts work?
Standing on a belt carries you along it at a steady pace on top of your own running. A belt with you gives a burst of speed, a belt against you slows you, and in the air you are on your own. The roof has belts too, which you can use after turning gravity over.
What does the key do?
It charges with time and with every brass cog you collect. When it is charged, pressing the wind-back button takes you back a moment. It costs fifty points each time and the third star.
How do I beat the Tin Racer?
Reach the exit door in less than the par time. The racer waits at the start and sets off late enough that it reaches the door exactly at that time, so you can see how far ahead you are as you run.
What are the twists in a session?
Rewound line flips every level left to right and turns the belts round, Overwound pays half as much again and fills the flow faster, and Lights out hides the far end of the run in darkness. One is picked for each session and the daily level has its own.
Can I make it easier?
Yes. In Settings, Pace: Relaxed runs the whole game at three-quarter speed, and Assist gives longer grace after leaving a ledge, slower falls, a quicker restart and a key that is always charged.
