About Skybound Canopy: Tiny Worlds
Skybound Canopy: Tiny Worlds is a platformer played on little planets. Each level is a world in a miniature asteroid belt: a small planet with a glowing core, a ring of grey rock circling it, and a corridor of open space between. The world is round, so the way ahead comes back behind you. Run off one edge and you arrive from the other, and a jump across the seam is an ordinary jump.
You are Pip, a tiny astronaut with a rocket pack. The movement is exact and the same every time: a variable jump, a short grace after leaving the ground, a dash in the direction you hold. A beacon waits somewhere on the loop, but it sleeps until you have gathered every grain of stardust, and the stardust is scattered round the planet and under the ring of rock. Crystal spikes grow on the ground in long beds, and gravity wells let you turn gravity over: down then points out to the ring, and you can walk on its underside, high above the spikes. Some worlds have gaps in the ring, and falling up through one is just as final as falling off a ledge.
One star is for reaching the beacon, two for doing it without a fall, and three for doing it without a fall inside the par time. Your best clear is kept as a faint ghost to chase, a daily world is chosen for everyone, and once two rooms are cleared, each session adds one twist: Widdershins turns the world the other way, Gloaming lights only the near, and Double dust makes every grain worth twice as much. Pace and Assist are in the settings.
How to play
- Run with the arrow keys or A and D, jump with Space, Z or the up arrow, and dash with Shift or X. On a phone use the on-screen arrows and buttons.
- The world is round: run off one edge and arrive from the other. Plan the loop before you run it.
- Gather every grain of stardust to wake the beacon, then reach the beacon.
- Stand in a glowing gravity well and press E to turn gravity over, so you walk on the underside of the ring of rock. A well answers once per visit.
- Crystal spikes and gaps in the ring send you back to the start of the world; the stardust you gathered stays gathered. Press R to restart and V to hear where you are.

Frequently asked questions
What does it mean that the world wraps?
The world is a loop. Run past its last column and you arrive at the first, with your speed unchanged. The same goes for jumps and dashes across the seam.
Why does the beacon not work?
It sleeps until every grain of stardust is gathered. The grains are spread round the planet and under the ring of rock, and the counter at the top says how many are left.
What happens when I fall?
You start the world again from the beginning, but the stardust you gathered stays gathered. A fall means a crystal spike, or going out through a gap in the ring of rock.
What are the twists in a session?
Widdershins turns the world the other way round, Gloaming hides everything beyond a pool of light round Pip, and Double dust makes every grain worth twice as many points. One is picked for each session and the daily world has its own.
Can I make it easier?
Yes. In Settings, Pace: Relaxed runs the whole game at three-quarter speed, and Assist gives longer grace after leaving the ground, slower falls and a quicker restart.
