About Neon Juggler: Arcade Weather

It is the last tram of the night, and you are its juggler. Balls of light drop through the roof hatches. Slide along the car and catch each one on your glass tray: every catch tosses the ball back up in a high arc, so you must be under it again in a moment. Catch a ball as many times as its dots say and it is racked on the luggage shelf for a bonus.

The weather changes every wave. Wind from one end pushes the balls sideways. Rain makes the floor slick, so you slide, and the balls fall quicker. Fog hides the landing marks and dims the balls until they are close. In a storm you get wind and rain together. A ball that reaches the floor tears one of your three tickets, but nothing is lost for good: it rolls under the seats and comes back in the next wave as a golden ball worth double.

Catch near the middle of the tray to fill the multiplier quickly; at times four the whole car lights up for a Grand Cascade. Each ride adds one twist: the express, the wide tray, twin chutes or the night tram. There is a daily ride that is the same for everyone today. A first run can end in seconds or last minutes. How to play

  1. Slide left and right with the arrow keys, A and D, a stick, the on-screen buttons or by dragging, and catch the falling balls on your tray.
  2. Each catch tosses the ball back up. When a ball has been caught as many times as it has dots, it is racked for a bonus.
  3. Catch near the middle of the tray to fill the multiplier faster: dead-centre catches count most.
  4. Press Space, Shift or the Dash button for a short burst of speed when a ball lands far away.
  5. Watch the sky: wind pushes balls sideways, rain makes the floor slick, fog hides the landing marks.
  6. A dropped ball tears a ticket and returns next wave in gold. Lose all three tickets and the ride ends.
  7. Press P, Escape or Start to pause. In Settings you can choose a relaxed pace and an assist with a wider tray.

Frequently asked questions

What are the tickets?

Your three chances in a run. A ball that reaches the floor tears one. Two clean waves in a row mend one. They are only a counter in the game.

What happens to a dropped ball?

It comes back in the next wave as a golden ball, from the place where it fell. It needs only one catch and scores double.

What does the weather do?

Wind pushes the balls to one side, rain makes the floor slick and the balls quicker, and fog hides the landing marks. A storm is wind and rain together.

Can I take it more slowly?

Yes. In Settings, Pace can be set to Relaxed, and Assist gives you a wider tray, more time between waves and shows the landing marks even in fog.

Does it save my run?

Yes. A run in progress is saved at the start of every wave, so you can come back and carry on. Your best score and badges stay in this browser only.
