About Neon Courier: Score After Dark
The parcel depot never sleeps, and tonight you are its courier. Glowing pads light up with parcels; carry them across the floor to the chute and bank them. The longer you carry a parcel, the more it is worth, up to double, but you carry it at your own risk: one hit and the whole pot is gone.
The floor is crossed by what keeps the depot running: forklift walls with a gap in them, sweeper beams turning on their pillars, crates dropping where a ring of light warned, shockwaves from a jammed conveyor. Every hazard shows a telegraph first. Pass a live one close without touching it and that is a near miss: it scores, it chains with the next one and it fills your multiplier. Six near misses in a row cut the depot's power for a Blackout, and the score of the chain comes back with the lights.
The depot is dark: a pool of light follows you, but the parcels, the chute and every telegraph glow on top of the dark. A shift lasts until dawn, 150 seconds away, or until you are out of power. Each shift has one twist, from rush hour to dim lamps, twin chutes or fragile cargo. The daily shift is the same for everyone today, and a ghost of your best run on the same shift races beside you. Records and badges stay on this device.
How to play
- Move with WASD, the arrow keys, a stick or the on-screen stick. The shift starts with your first move.
- Fly over the glowing parcels to pick them up (up to five), then fly to the chute to bank them.
- Each hazard shows a dashed warning, then turns solid. Pass a live one close but not touching for a near miss.
- Near misses chain: the more in a row, the more each pays. Six in a row cuts the power for a Blackout bonus.
- Press Space, Shift or the Dash button for a burst of speed. You cannot be hit while the dash lasts.
- A hit empties your pot and costs a battery. Three hits end the shift, and dawn, 150 seconds in, ends it with a bonus.
- Press P, Escape or Start to pause. In Settings you can choose a relaxed pace and an assist with larger pick-ups and smaller hazards.

Frequently asked questions
What is a near miss?
Passing a hazard that is live, close but without touching it. It scores, builds a chain with the next near miss and fills your multiplier.
What happens to my parcels when I am hit?
The pot you are carrying is lost, you lose a battery and the multiplier drops a step. Banked points are always safe.
Is there a ghost?
Yes. The best run on the same seed, or on today's shift, races beside you as a faint copy, and the Best run readout says how far ahead or behind you are.
How long is a shift?
Until dawn, 150 seconds after you start, or until you are out of batteries. Runs are quick, so one more is always easy.
Can I play slower?
Yes. In Settings, Pace can be set to Relaxed, and Assist gives larger pick-up reach, smaller hazards and a short breather between waves.
Does it save my shift?
A shift in progress is saved at the start of each wave, so you can come back and continue. Records and badges stay in this browser only.
