About Comet Signal: One More Run
Comet Signal: One More Run is a hopping game set in a tiny spacecraft scrapyard in orbit. You steer a round salvage drone one cell at a time across the yard, from one signal beacon to the next. You see the yard from above, and the lanes you cross are different from each other: safe piles of hull plates where you can catch your breath, lanes of drifting junk that pass in both directions, conveyor belts that carry you sideways toward the shredder at the edge, and crusher presses that flash and then slam.
A recycler chases from behind, a wall of grinding steel that starts slowly and speeds up the further you go, so standing still is never an option. Every new row you reach, every glowing spark you pick up and every piece of junk you slip past with a hair to spare feeds your chain and your multiplier. Light a beacon and a flare shoots up, you collect a bonus, you get one shield that will take a single hit for you, and the recycler is shoved back for a few moments.
A run lasts thirty to ninety seconds and you have one hull: a hit ends it, and Play again is one press away. Each run adds a rule of its own, such as rush hour, a busy yard, fast belts or long press warnings. Today’s yard is the same for everyone, and your best run of it hops beside you as a ghost drone.
How to play
- Hop with the arrow keys or WASD, a controller’s D-pad, the on-screen stick (flick it, or hold it to keep hopping), or by swiping on the stage. A tap on the right half of the stage hops forward.
- Piles of hull plates are safe, but a rock blocks the way: hop around it.
- Time the junk lanes. Junk drifts both ways; a hit ends the run unless a shield takes it.
- A conveyor carries you sideways. Hop off before the edge, or the shredder takes you.
- A crusher press flashes and then slams a moment later: cross while it is dark, never while it flashes.
- Light a beacon for a bonus, a shield and a push on the recycler. Keep moving: the recycler never stops.
Controls
- Arrow keys or WASD, D-pad, the on-screen stick or a swipe — hop one cell
- Tap the right half of the stage — hop forward

Frequently asked questions
How far do I hop?
One cell at a time, in any of four directions. Press a direction and the drone hops at once; a second press during the hop is queued so quick hops chain together.
What does the recycler do?
It chases from behind and gets faster the further you go. If it catches you the run ends. Lighting a beacon shoves it back a little.
What do the shield and the beacons do?
Each beacon pays a bonus, gives one shield and pushes the recycler back. The shield absorbs a single hit from junk, a press or the shredder, and then you are safe for a moment. It does not stop the recycler.
How do the presses work?
Each press flashes for a moment and then slams for a fraction of a second. Cross the lane while it is dark or right after a slam.
Can I slow it down?
Yes. In Settings, Pace: Relaxed runs at three-quarter speed, and Assist gives you a bigger head start and a slower recycler.
