Photo Editor
Crop, fix, decorate and save one photo at full size — all in your browser.
Loading the editor…
Crop & rotate
Drag the box or its corners on the photo, then apply. Keyboard: the arrow keys move the box, Alt + arrow keys resize it, Enter applies.
Adjust
Filters
Filters and adjustments use the same engine as the Photo Filters tool and are applied to the full-size photo when you save.
Text
Select a text on the photo, or add one.
More text styles (gradients, spacing, glows) are in Add Text to Image.
Draw
Draw on the photo. Hold Shift for a straight line.
Shapes
Drag on the photo to draw. Shift: squares, circles and 45° lines.
Keyboard: the arrow keys move the selected shape (Shift: faster) and Alt + arrow keys resize it, or move the tip of a line or arrow.
Emoji
Emoji are drawn with your device’s emoji font, so they look like the emoji on your phone or computer.
Blur brush
Paint over faces, plates or text to hide them. For names and numbers, a filled Rectangle (Shapes) is safer — blur can sometimes be undone; see Blur Image.
Layers
Nothing added yet — text, drawings, shapes, emoji and blur strokes appear here, top first.
About the Photo Editor
One place to finish a photo: crop (free or 1:1, 4:5, 3:2, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16), rotate, flip and straighten; fix light and colour with adjustments (exposure, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, vibrance, warmth, tint, vignette, grain) or one-click filters; then add text, shapes, arrows and lines, freehand drawing and highlighter, emoji and a blur or pixelate brush. Every addition is a layer you can select, move, resize, hide, lock, reorder or delete, and undo/redo covers every step.
The saved photo is drawn again from your original at full resolution — the adjustments and filters are applied to every pixel, not to the preview — as JPG, PNG or WebP. Editing happens on your device; the photo is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose, drop or paste a photo.
- Use the tabs above the photo: Crop & rotate (drag the crop box, then Apply crop), Adjust, Filters, Text, Draw, Shapes, Emoji, Blur and Layers.
- Click anything you added to select it: drag to move, use the corner handles to resize and the top handle to rotate; the Layers tab hides, locks and reorders items.
- Pick a format and select Download (or Copy image). Undo and redo (Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Shift+Z) work at every step.
Examples
Crop 1:1 · Straighten 1.5° · Exposure +0.3 · Contrast +10 · text “₹1,499” in a box
A square, level, brighter photo with the price on it, saved at full size
Arrow and ellipse in red pointing at a crack · text “Damage here”
A clear, annotated photo for an insurance claim or a repair request
Warm filter · blur brush over a stranger’s face · 🎉 emoji
A warmer photo with the passer-by hidden and a festive emoji
Common uses
- Getting a product, property or profile photo ready: crop, straighten, brighten.
- Marking up a photo with arrows, shapes and notes for a report or repair request.
- Adding greetings, captions or prices in English, Hindi or Marathi.
- Hiding faces or details with the blur brush before sharing.
Crop, rotate and straighten
- Crop shows a box with rule-of-thirds guides; choose a shape (Free, Original or a fixed ratio), drag the box and its corners, then Apply crop (or press Enter). With the keyboard, the arrow keys move the box and Alt + arrow keys resize it; shapes, lines and arrows can be added with Add to the middle and moved the same way. Undo crop returns to the uncropped photo without losing other edits.
- Rotate 90° and Flip turn or mirror the whole picture; text, shapes and drawings move with it (text keeps reading the right way round).
- Straighten tilts the photo up to 45° and zooms in just enough that no empty corners appear, so the picture keeps its size.
Adjustments and filters
Adjustments and filters run on the same colour engine as the photo filters tool: exposure and white balance are applied in linear light, contrast as a smooth S-curve, and highlights and shadows separately, so colours stay natural. While you edit, a screen-size copy is processed in a background worker for speed; when you save, the full-size photo is processed the same way, in strips, so even large photos fit in memory. Vignette and grain are positioned in the photo’s own pixels, so they look the same in the saved file as on screen.
Text, drawings and layers
- Text offers free fonts (including Devanagari for Hindi and Marathi), outline, shadow, a background box and curved text; Add Text to Image has more text styles.
- Draw has a pen and a see-through highlighter; Shapes draws rectangles, ellipses, lines and arrows with an optional fill.
- Blur paints a blur or pixelation over faces, plates or text. Blur can sometimes be partly undone on text — for names and numbers, cover them with a filled rectangle instead (see Blur Image).
- Layers lists everything you added, top first: select, hide, lock, move up or down, or delete.
Limitations
- One photo at a time; for the same change on many photos use the batch tools, such as the image resizer or watermark tool.
- Photos larger than about 24 megapixels are scaled down for editing and saving, to stay within browser memory (especially on phones).
- Edits are kept only while the page is open — there is no project file to reopen later.
- There is no background removal, healing or AI retouching.
- Saved photos are re-encoded: EXIF data such as camera details and GPS location is not copied.
Privacy

Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No: the photo stays on your device, and everything is edited and saved in your browser. It also works offline once the page has loaded.
Does saving reduce the resolution?
No. The photo is redrawn from the original at full size with all edits (photos above about 24 megapixels are first scaled to that size). Cropping makes it smaller only by what you crop away.
Can I undo a crop later?
Yes: Undo crop in the Crop & rotate tab removes the crop and keeps your other edits, and undo/redo can step back through every change.
How do I straighten a tilted horizon?
In Crop & rotate, move Straighten until the horizon is level. The photo zooms in slightly so no blank corners appear.
Can I edit a text after adding it?
Yes. Click it (or double-click to jump to its text box) and change the words, font, size, colour, outline, shadow, box, curve or rotation in the Text tab.
Which format should I save in?
“Same as the photo” keeps JPG as JPG. Choose PNG for transparency or graphics, WebP for small files on the web, and JPG for photos to share anywhere.
