About the Lighthouse Report Compare
Compare two or more full Lighthouse JSON reports from your own successful runs. Raw CLI and DevTools reports and PageSpeed response wrappers retain their original scores, lab metrics, audit quantities, versions, URLs and device settings. Loaded-order tables show adjacent changes, appeared or absent audits and all reported resource weights. A reported zero stays separate from an unreported value. With a Pro pass, export the complete comparison as Markdown or a PDF visual copy; no page or live batch test is run. The free preview shows input counts and the first report rows; a Pro pass opens all measurements, diagnostics and exports.
How to use it
- Save the complete JSON reports of your own successful Lighthouse or PageSpeed runs.
- Open two or more files, or paste an array of full reports. Put the earlier report first and keep the order you want for trends.
- Review versions, page labels and throttling before comparing scores, LCP, CLS, Total Blocking Time and Speed Index.

Limitations
- Different Lighthouse versions can change audit inventories and scoring. The tool does not invent a score conversion.
- Different URLs, device settings and throttling are flagged; a difference does not establish that a particular change caused it.
- An audit absent from a later file is labelled absent, not verified fixed. Estimated savings are not measured load-time savings.

Yes; original versions stay visible and the result warns about changed scoring or audit inventories. Treat the comparison as reported observations, not a normalization.
Does an absent opportunity mean I fixed it?
No. It may have been removed, renamed, unreported or changed by the configuration. The report says absent from the later file and keeps both original contexts.
