Neon Juggler: One More Run

One tug, one repulsor, sixty seconds of falling scrap. Then one more run.

Pro game

Fly the tug with the arrow keys, WASD, a stick or the on-screen stick. Space pulses the scrap up into the crushers.

About Neon Juggler: One More Run

Neon Juggler: One More Run is a quick-fire juggling game in a tiny scrapyard in orbit. You fly a stubby orange tug in low gravity, and gears, hull plates and pipe sections drift down from above toward the junk heap on the floor. Press Pulse and the tug's repulsor throws a ring of force that knocks every nearby piece away from you, so the trick is to get underneath a sinking piece, on the far side from a crusher, and send it up into one of the glowing hatches at the top. Every pulse that hits adds to your haul. Crushing a piece scores it and compacts the whole haul into your score, with a bonus for how long it rode.

Scrap that reaches the floor changes the next wave: the heap grows in that column, so the yard gets smaller, and a magnet mine drifts in above where it fell. Scraping the heap shakes your haul loose, and mines and welding arcs from the walls damage the hull; three hits end the run. A run lasts 60 seconds; every wave you clear with nothing on the floor adds three more, up to 90. Crush three pieces within six seconds, or climb the multiplier to the top, for a Supernova: the crushers overload and pull every piece in the yard into them at once. Each run adds a rule of its own, the daily yard is the same for everyone today, and Play again starts the next run instantly.

How to play

  1. Fly the tug with the arrow keys or WASD, a controller's left stick, or the on-screen stick on a touch screen.
  2. Press Space, J, Ⓐ or the Pulse button: a ring of force knocks every piece of scrap near the tug away from it.
  3. Get under a sinking piece, on the side away from a crusher, and pulse it up into a hatch. Each hit adds to your haul.
  4. Crushing a piece scores it and compacts your haul with a bonus for how long it rode.
  5. Scrap on the floor grows the heap and brings a magnet mine next wave. Mines and welding arcs damage the hull.
  6. Crush three pieces within six seconds for a Supernova. Clean waves add three seconds to the clock, up to 90.

Controls

  • Arrow keys or WASD, left stick or the on-screen stick — fly the tug
  • Space or J, Ⓐ or RT, or the Pulse button — repulsor pulse

Frequently asked questions

How long is a run?

Sixty seconds. Every wave you clear with nothing reaching the floor adds three seconds, up to 90. Three hull hits end it sooner.

How do I aim the scrap?

The pulse pushes each piece straight away from the tug. Put the tug below the piece and a little to the side away from the crusher you want.

What happens to scrap I miss?

It lands on the heap, which grows in that column so the yard gets smaller, and a magnet mine drifts in above it in the next wave.

What is a Supernova?

Crush three pieces within six seconds, or climb the multiplier to the top, and the crushers overload, pulling every piece in the yard in at once.

Can I make it easier?

Yes. In Settings, Pace: Relaxed runs at three-quarter speed, and Assist widens the pulse and shrinks the hazards a little.
