About Buzzer Beater Hoops

A fast basketball free-throw challenge: hold to charge your shot power, release at the right moment, and line up with a hoop that slides slowly along its rail. Every make keeps the clock moving; a hot streak adds extra seconds so a good run can snowball into a long one.

There is no betting or prize money here — just a 60-second scramble to beat your own best score, saved on this device.

How to play

  1. Hold Space, or press and hold on the stage, to charge your shot power.
  2. Use the arrow keys or a tap to line your aim up with the sliding hoop.
  3. Release to shoot — a clean make needs both the power and the aim close to the hoop.
  4. Chain makes into a streak: every few makes in a row adds bonus seconds to the clock.
  5. Score as many makes as you can before the 60-second buzzer ends the round.

Controls

  • Hold Space or tap-and-hold — charge power
  • Arrow keys or tap a side — aim at the hoop
  • Release — shoot

Frequently asked questions

How does the streak bonus work?

Every few makes in a row adds a few bonus seconds to the clock, so a hot streak can meaningfully extend your round.

Does the hoop move the whole time?

Yes — the hoop slides slowly back and forth along its rail, so you have to track it with your aim before you release.

Does it save my score?

Your best score and best streak are saved in this browser only (local storage) and shown the next time you play.
