About the Cryptographic IP & MAC Lab Generator
Generate IPv4/IPv6 addresses from an explicit public, private or supplied-CIDR domain, or locally administered unicast MAC addresses and user-chosen OUI prefixes. Device cryptographic entropy and unbiased interval sampling supply every row. Special-purpose/reserved ranges are excluded according to the captured registry context; public syntax does not establish current routing, availability or assignment.
How to use it
- Choose IPv4, IPv6 or MAC and a compatible domain.
- For IPs choose public/private/CIDR; for MACs choose local or supplied OUI.
- Enter a positive whole count and a supported output notation. No own row quota is imposed.
- Generate, inspect every paged row, and unlock the full text/JSON/address-list exports.
Method and primary reference context
Special-purpose registries, IEEE parameter conventions, IPv4 registry and IPv6 registry.
Limitations
- Public output excludes the captured special-purpose registries and reserved syntax ranges; it does not establish allocation, reachability or availability.
- Random sampling can repeat an address. Generated values must not be assumed unique or assigned to you.
- A chosen OUI is an explicit laboratory prefix, not proof of a manufacturer. Large batches depend on available device memory.
Privacy
On this device: nothing is sent
The device’s cryptographic random generator supplies the entropy. Settings and generated address batches are not uploaded or stored.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get without a pass?
Without a pass, Cryptographic IP & MAC Lab Generator shows useful labels with complete analysis figures and exports hidden. Until you unlock it, the result can’t be downloaded or copied. A Pro, Premium or Ultimate pass, a one-time payment that never renews, unlocks the full result. The pricing page lists the passes and their prices.
Is every generated public address reachable?
No. Public mode selects ordinary global-unicast syntax outside the excluded ranges. Routing and current assignment are separate facts that this local generator does not test.
What makes the default MAC locally administered and unicast?
The universal/local bit is set and the individual/group bit is cleared in its first octet. The remaining bits come from cryptographic entropy.
Why can a CIDR produce no addresses?
If all its addresses fall inside excluded special-purpose or reserved ranges, there is no eligible sampling domain. Choose a different CIDR or the appropriate private mode.
