    About Word Search

A classic word-finding puzzle: a grid of letters hides a short list of words, running left-right, up-down or diagonally, forwards or backwards. Drag or tap in a straight line to select letters; a correct match highlights the word and crosses it off your list.

Every round draws a fresh set of words and lays out a new grid, so no two puzzles play the same. Nothing here involves betting or prizes — just a quiet puzzle break.

    How to play

    1. Find every word in the list on the right by selecting its letters in the grid.
    2. Click or tap the first letter, then drag (or tap the last letter) in a straight line to the last letter.
    3. Words can run in any of 8 directions: across, down, diagonally, and backwards.
    4. A correct selection highlights the word and crosses it off the list; find them all to win the round.

    Controls

    • Click/tap a letter then drag to the last letter of a word — select
    • Release over the last letter — confirm the selection

    Frequently asked questions

Which directions can words run in?

All 8 compass directions: across, down, and both diagonals, each either forwards or backwards.

Is the word list the same every time?

No — each round randomly draws a fresh set of words from the game’s original word bank and generates a new grid.
