About Spider Solitaire

A browser version of Spider Solitaire in its one-suit form: ten tableau columns dealt from eight sets of a single suit, with the rest of the deck held back as a stock you deal out ten cards at a time.

This is a solo, non-wagering card game with no betting, stakes or cash prizes of any kind. Your local best move count is kept on this device only.

How to play

  1. Move a face-up card, or a face-up run already in strict descending order, onto a tableau card exactly one rank higher.
  2. An empty column accepts any card or run.
  3. When you have no more useful moves, deal a new row from the stock onto every column.
  4. Build a complete run from King down to Ace in one column to clear it automatically.
  5. Win by clearing all eight King-to-Ace sequences.

Controls

  • Drag a card or run, or tap it then tap a destination — move cards
  • Tap the stock — deal a new row

What happens when I deal a new row?

One card is dealt face up onto every one of the ten columns at once, using up ten cards from the stock.
