About the Bulk Listing Sheet Builder for Indian Marketplaces (SKU variants)
Listing a kurti in 5 sizes and 4 colours means 20 rows of the same details with a different SKU, size and colour on each. Here you enter the style once — name, brand, HSN, GST rate, MRP and price, weight, images — and its sizes, colours and packs, and the rows are made for you: SKUs and product names from patterns such as {style}-{colour}-{size}, prices from the MRP and a discount if you like, and stock, MRP or price changed per variant where needed.
Load the marketplace’s own bulk-upload template (Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon.in or another) and the rows are written into its columns, as its drop-down lists spell the values, in the units its headings ask for, with your saved manufacturer, packer and importer details in the declaration columns. The filled sheet is checked with the same checks as the Listing Sheet Checker before you download it. Everything happens in your browser: it doesn’t log in to any seller panel and needs no browser extension — you upload the file yourself.
How to use it
- Download the empty bulk-upload template for your category from your seller panel and load it here (.xlsx or .xlsm). The sheet to fill, its heading row and its columns are found automatically.
- Enter the product: style ID, name pattern, brand, HSN, GST rate, MRP and selling price (or a discount on the MRP), stock, weight and the image link pattern.
- Type the sizes, colours and packs, and check the SKU pattern. The table shows every variant: change MRP, price or stock on a row, or untick variants you don’t sell.
- Choose the manufacturer, packer and importer from your saved profiles (add them once; they stay in this browser).
- Check Columns — what each template column will be filled with — and press Build the sheet. Look at the check result, then Download the filled template and upload it to your seller panel.
Examples
Style KRT-104 · sizes S, M, L · colours red, Blue · SKU {style}-{colour3}-{size} · MRP 999 · price 40% off6 rows: KRT-104-RED-S … KRT-104-BLU-L, colour written “Red” as in the template’s list, price 599.40, HSN as text so a leading zero stays
Template with a parent/child column · style KRT-104 · sizes S, M
A parent row KRT-104 (no size, price or stock) and two child rows pointing to it
Packs: 1, 2, 3 · SKU {style}-{pack} · MRP changed per packKRT-104-P1, KRT-104-P2, KRT-104-P3 with their own MRP
Common uses
- Listing a new style with all its sizes and colours in one go.
- Keeping SKUs consistent across marketplaces with one SKU pattern.
- Filling the manufacturer, packer and importer declarations the same way every time.
- Preparing a catalog without giving an extension or an agency access to your seller account.
Patterns
- SKU:
{style},{colour},{colour3}(the first three letters of the colour),{size},{pack}(written P1, P2…) and{n}(the row number). SKUs are written in capitals with letters, digits and - _ . / only; spaces become hyphens. Two variants with the same SKU are refused. - Product name:
{brand},{style},{colour},{size}and{pack}; empty parts leave no gaps. - Image links: the same tokens plus
{n}for the image number (Image 1, Image 2…). Only https links; spaces are written as %20. Upload the photos to your own website or an image host first: marketplaces need links that open the image itself.
Declarations
Rule 6 of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 lists the declarations every package must carry. Among them: the name and address of the manufacturer (and of the packer, when that is someone else) and, for an imported package, of the importer; the common or generic name of the product; the net quantity; the month and year of manufacture, packing or import; the retail sale price; and the name, address, phone number and e-mail of whoever handles consumer complaints.
Marketplace templates ask for the name-and-address declarations in columns of their own. Save each manufacturer, packer and importer once as a profile (name, address, PIN code and a consumer-care contact) and choose them per product: the builder writes them into the columns the template has — the whole declaration in one column (“Manufacturer Details”), or the name, address and PIN code each in its own column when the template splits them — and the country of origin into a country column. It fills what the template asks for; whether your declarations meet the Rules, as amended, remains yours to check.
How values are written
- A column with a drop-down list gets the list’s own spelling (“red” becomes “Red”; GST 5 becomes “5%” when that is how the list writes it).
- Weight is entered in grams and sizes in centimetres, and converted when the heading asks for kilograms, millimetres, metres or inches.
- HSN codes are written as text, so codes starting with 0 keep the zero; PIN codes are written as text too.
- Numbers (MRP, price, stock) are written as numbers; a new cell takes the format the template gives its column or row.
- A parent row (templates with a parent / child column) gets the style ID written as a SKU, and every child row points to it in exactly that spelling.
- Rows go into the first empty rows under the headings: nothing already in the template is overwritten, and every other sheet, list and setting of the file stays as it was.
Limitations
- Templates must be .xlsx or .xlsm; an .xls template must be saved as .xlsx in Excel first (or use the CSV download).
- One style per build. Build the next style into the downloaded file to add more products to the same sheet.
- Category attributes beyond the ones listed (fabric, sleeve length, occasion…) can be filled with the same text on every row under Columns; different values per variant aren’t supported.
- Up to 40 sizes, colours or packs each, and 2,000 rows per build.
- Product names and descriptions come from your patterns and text; the builder doesn’t write them for you.
Privacy
Everything happens in your browser. What you enter or open here is not uploaded or stored by MySmartCoPilot. The spreadsheet reader (SheetJS) downloads from this site once. Your template, products and profiles stay on your device; nothing is uploaded or sent to any marketplace.
Frequently asked questions
Does it log in to Meesho, Flipkart or Amazon?
No. It needs no account access and no browser extension. It fills the template file on your device; you upload it in your seller panel as usual.
Will the marketplace accept the file?
The rows are written into the marketplace’s own template and checked for what the template and the rules say (mandatory fields, lists, HSN, GST, MRP, image links, duplicate SKUs). The marketplace can still reject a listing for things only it checks, such as brand approval or photo quality.
Where are my profiles and products kept?
In this browser’s local storage. They never leave your device; clearing the site’s data removes them.
Can I add a second style to the same sheet?
Yes. Load the file you downloaded as the template and build the next style: its rows go below the ones already there.
Can I use it without a template?
Yes. Download CSV gives the rows with one column per field, to copy into any sheet.
