How to combine
Add items to at least two lists, one item per line.
About the List Combiner & Keyword Mixer
Paste up to six lists, one item per line, and combine them four ways: line by line (first names next to last names), all combinations (every way to pick one item from each list — a keyword mixer for search ads), interleave (one item from each list in turn) or each pair of lists (every item of one list with every item of another, for match-ups and two-word phrases).
The exact number of results is shown before anything is generated, so a mix that would produce millions of lines is caught first. Results appear as you type for up to 20,000 lines; bigger mixes are made when you press Generate, up to 500,000 results. Choose the separator, wrap keywords for phrase or exact match, remove duplicates, and copy the result or download it as text or CSV. Everything runs in your browser.
How to use it
- Type or paste each list into its own box, one item per line (or switch Split items on to commas). Use Add list for up to six lists; empty boxes are ignored.
- Choose how to combine: Line by line, All combinations, Interleave or Each pair of lists. The line under the choice explains what it will do.
- Pick a separator (a space by default) and any options — what to do with lists of different lengths, both orders, phrase/exact-match wrapping or duplicate removal.
- Check the result count. Up to 20,000 results appear at once; for bigger mixes press Generate.
- Copy the result, or download it as a .txt file (one per line) or a .csv file with one column per list for Excel or Google Sheets.
Examples
List 1: Asha, Ravi, Meera List 2: Rao, Iyer, Shah

List 1: buy, cheap List 2: running shoes, trail shoes List 3: online

2 × 2 × 1 = 4 results. The last list changes fastest, like an odometer.
List 1: Q1, Q2 List 2: A1, A2
Q1 A1 Q2 A2
List 1: India, Nepal List 2: Oman Separator: " vs "

Common uses
- Building keyword lists for Google Ads or SEO research from modifier, product and location lists, wrapped as "phrase" or [exact] match.
- Joining columns copied from a spreadsheet — first and last names, codes and descriptions — into one line each.
- Making product variant lists (colour × size × material) as a CSV ready to import.
- Generating test data, usernames or file names from parts, or alternating two lists into one.
How many results each way gives
With lists of n₁, n₂ … nₖ items (empty lists are not counted):
- Line by line — as many results as the longest list (a missing item is left out, or the shorter lists repeat), or as the shortest list if you choose Stop at the shortest list.
- All combinations — n₁ × n₂ × … × nₖ. Three lists of 10 items already give 1,000 results; six lists of 100 give a trillion, which is why the count comes first.
- Interleave — n₁ + n₂ + … + nₖ, every item once.
- Each pair of lists — the sum of nᵢ × nⱼ over every pair of lists (1+2, 1+3, 2+3 …), doubled with both orders. With two lists it is the same as All combinations unless you add the reverse order.
Keyword match types
In Google Ads, a keyword in quotation marks ("running shoes") is a phrase-match keyword, one in square brackets ([running shoes]) is an exact-match keyword, and a keyword without either is broad match (Google Ads Help, About keyword matching options). Wrap each result adds the quotes or brackets for you, so the list can be pasted straight into the keyword editor.
Limitations
- At most 500,000 results (or 40 million characters) are generated; the count tells you how many the full mix would have. Split very large mixes into smaller ones.
- Very long results are previewed in part on screen; Copy and Download always include every generated result.
- Items are combined exactly as written. The tool does not check grammar or meaning, so remove combinations that do not make sense by hand — Filter Lines helps with that.

Frequently asked questions
How do I combine two lists line by line?
Paste one list in List 1 and the other in List 2, choose Line by line and a separator (a space, a comma, a tab …). Item 1 is joined with item 1, item 2 with item 2, and so on. If the lists have different lengths, choose whether to leave the missing item out, stop at the shorter list or repeat it.
What is the difference between All combinations and Each pair of lists?
All combinations takes one item from every list, so three lists give three-part results ("buy shoes online"). Each pair of lists joins two lists at a time — 1+2, 1+3 and 2+3 — so three lists give two-part results ("buy shoes", "buy online", "shoes online").
Why do I have to press Generate?
Mixes of more than 20,000 results are only made when you ask, so typing in a list never freezes the page. The exact number is shown first; up to 500,000 results can be generated.
Can I open the result in Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Choose CSV (one column per list) under Output and download the .csv file, or use the Tab separator and paste the copied text into a sheet: each part lands in its own column. In the CSV file an item that starts with =, +, - or @ gets a leading apostrophe, so the spreadsheet shows it as text instead of running it as a formula; the one-per-line output keeps every item exactly as you typed it.
Is my list uploaded?
No. The lists are combined in your browser and never sent anywhere; the page works offline once it has loaded.
