Read a price chart with the right limits
History describes what was observed; it does not promise what happens next.
Check what the chart covers
History belongs to an exact variant and currency. The chart starts when Shop first observes an eligible price. A gap means there was no qualifying observation, not that the price stayed unchanged.
Look at the sample size
At least seven distinct observed days are needed for a price status. Short or sparse samples are limited evidence. The low, high and average cover collected observations only.
Read the status calculation
A good price is at least five percent below the observed average. A great price also reaches the collected low. A high price is more than ten percent above the average. The methodology page explains the remaining range.
Choose an alert instead of a prediction
You can set a target amount, a percentage drop or a return-to-stock alert. Source checks happen on a schedule. Neither an alert nor an observed low guarantees that the same offer will remain available at checkout.
